First things first I could not find the Sanford white pen on your website. Now onto the palette knife this is so amazing and looks like so much fun. I have to try this and the tree limbs with the tip of a palette knife. Joe I love all your art!!!!
When I really started getting into watercolors again, I "fought" buying from an online supply company. Then I started laying out REAL money for supplies and spent many hours comparing each item I needed between several art supply providers and even Amazon. I was a-m-a-z-e-d that Joe was really so Cheap! :-) You have all the suppliers online BEAT hands down! The supplies may take a couple days longer to arrive, compared to Amazon, but you can not beat the price. Thank you JOE!
I wish you would put a list of the products mentioned--some new things that would be fun to try but you went by the product without enough info about it! Great episode-great ideas!!
mmm,so enjoyed that clip! The first video I saw years ago with Joe hooked me on the channel. I love all the diversity, perfect reminder to never stop exploring! thank you both!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this little visit. Fabulous paintings! I’m gaga over the paint skins!!! Children’s book is probably finished by now....I’ll check for it! 🥳
Luv the cap Joe. You're a good sport. I'm a Boone girl and my great nephew works at Cheap Joes. I have gone to Cheap Joe's in Charlotte and just stand and look at your art books. It's like going home again.
That was great, so many new ideas!! We all need that. Now I really want to order some of the Gesso that Joe used on the board then watercolor. Hope you all do more follow up videos 😁👍🏻🧐👀
Sterling Edwards has been using palette knives to paint aspen trees. He horizontally pulls the brown paint form either side to create the brown patches of trunk surface. He also uses the P. knife for fine branches.
RIP Joe Miller. Thank you for all you have done for artists everywhere.
Painting as meditation Joe. That's what painting is for me.
"Every painting has a lesson..." Love that. Thank you guys
We need more of people like you and Cheap Joe! Thank you for connecting with us “normal” folk. You guys make me feel my art might not be so bad…..!
What a sweet soft spoken man Joe is. Wonderful mentor!

As an Aussie from sunny climes I love the snow scenes. Painted sensitively.
The paintings are beautiful!
Joe was adorable. Wish I had met him in person.
@21:05 the illustration reminds me of a scene out of the movie "Beasts of the Southern Wild". ❤❤❤

Kinda like quilting with painted paper instead of cloth.
