Thanks for those shots of the basilica ceiling, I will always miss this type of sight in Europe. Those courses of red granite demonstrate they wanted to really show off their fine craftsmanship.
Stunning and always informative, to bad you guys are not in the neighborhood any longer, just got my sailboat. I think you would be shocked in my choice.
Our yacht is presently on the hard in Port Corbieres, Marseille and we know all about the Mistral! Not sure when we are going to get the opportunity to sail on her again, as all sailing is banned. Aix-en Provence is lovely, we also visited it on a day it was too windy to sail - it was gusting up to 55kts!

Yeah, we really wanted to capture the uniqueness of it!
Le Vieux Port de Marseille! And Aix-en-Provence. I went to school there long ago. Your visit to the Med has been great to follow.
School there would have been something! Thanks for the feedback!!
Beautiful views and art! I hope you all stay safe given the current state of the world. Fair winds and following seas... 🤙🐾👣

Hi from Marseille ! Sorry but Marseille was founded by the phocaeans, not phoenicians. Nice vid though, Bye !
Oh, thanks for the clarification, always thought it was the phoenicians... learn something new every day!
@@Expedition_Tranquilo ; ) In France we call Marseille " la Cité phocéenne"
