I commented earlier about this new piece and how unique it is for the organ. Now, after downloading it for organ and playing through it a few times, I've found it to be the challenge I needed right now. With a serious neurological illness it's been a struggle to keep my body coordinated. All of David's work has challenged me physically in the past, but this one exceeds any expectations I have had when it comes to challenges. Yes it's a fairly simple melody and the footwork pretty easy, but it's the voicing changes and mixes that bring the true challenge to the surface. The physicality of the piece is normal for many of David's pieces, but the mental challenge of figuring out the voicing has added the last element of making this the perfect work and a joy to play. Thanks as always David for the joy and challenge you bring to every song you do

Dear David Hicken, I have a stack of your music here, and love all of it. I suddenly realized your set up is brilliant, I have a Yamaha P515 loaned to me and it is allowing me to hear things that I miss hearing with the piano, ( my 2 year old Steinway B is being restrung, after three strings broke, a huge disappointment for me the strings were cut short ) the idea of multiple keyboards is a direction I would like to go in as well. Most beautiful pieces usually are shorter than 3 minutes. Over 8 minutes and every second just beautiful masterwork! There will no be other piece which breaks this rule by far! I was wordless when you released Alessandria (the best organ piece in the world). And now this! And same question again: Why so low view count! I cant believe why these diamonds doesn't explode the world. This deserves millions plays as Alessandria too. Deep respect.

A bit of Bach to start, maybe some few Mozart, then something more modern, like Secret Garden or if you know them some Rondò Veneziano. But with your unique style, your so particular rhythm, your sweet way to play and show your song. And this is one of the greatest!!
Watch it out - after the slowed mellowed down part from 4:43 onwards - yet another glimpse of taking it high and big with the blend of bass foot pedal, left hand staccato and right hand lead - truly a great musical script ! It’s a great art of story telling musically as the entire composition takes the listeners to another world of peace. Watch after 7:44 what a magnificent play by David !
