Just a quick note. If you are in the UK, you can NOT ride it like a motorcycle. The throttle has essentially been disabled due to regulations.
Also your speed is limited to 25mph and your bike will not let you pedal any faster once that speed has been detected. In fact, it will actively slow you down.

My Himiway cruiser is at 2000 miles and only needs the casual maintenance these bikes are awesome
