- Garment details for any fellow hunters, as best as I can recall them! Ivory flared-sleeve cardigan is by Anthropologie, Knitted & Knotted, & was called the Limehouse cardigan. Alice's waistcoat is indeed blue, not grey, but it's the right brand, H&M, look out for the satiny collar and 7 fiddly buttons. The frilly white shirt I have is by Scarlet Darkness, & iirc I just bought it on Amazon. Velvet sleeveless blazer is by BCBG Maxazria - the velvet skirt I paired it by is, I believe, originally from Debenhams. My ivory tunic and waistcoat outfit: tunic from Joe Browns, but it's ancient, try Ebay - waistcoat is Punk Rave via Fantasmagoria, they still sell it. Dusty rose chiffon blouse is Forever 21. Both my pairs of boots were cheapos, the first a lucky Ebay score, the second Amazon. My sleeveless green tunic coat has no label at all - I believe it was handmade; lucky Ebay find! The brown leather battle jacket is by Banana Republic - Alice's is, I believe, modified to have rounded collar points, but every other detail remains correct. Her choker is easily found on Ebay. The beautiful grey dress is by Diane Von Furstenburg - my black shrug was thrifted long, long ago, but for a perfect knitted replica, along with the Alice's gloves, Bella's chunky mittens and several other cool pieces, check out the book/Kindle edition of Vampire Knits by Genevieve Miller, & RUclips tutorials will get you started - everyone should knit, it's the most satisfying, relaxing, compulsive fidget toy that spits out clothes at the end - magic! :D My 1920s/30s felt hat was thrifted, originally by Peacocks. Good - but high end - contact lenses are from 9mmsfx - the equally high end brand to avoid are FXEyes; for cheaper lenses I use Pinky Paradise and TTD Eye; cheaper lenses look best on dark eyes, & sadly mine are grey - if you also have light eyes, you can get handpainted lenses tinted over the pupil hole to hide your natural eye colour; the vision is worse - like wearing sunglasses - but it looks so much more real! My wig is either from Uniqso or Youvimi, with the fringe shortened & feathered out. Finally, I highly recommend checking out the Go Ask Alice Cullen blog for details on finding Alice pieces; she's where I got most of my initial info on hunting these pieces!

Alice is the most underrated character in my opinion.
I always loved the books... The movies are too tiny to show it all, but I live for those forest views!... Also, when I need a hug, I watch the movies (in between other comforting movies that take me back in time)...

My favorite Alice moment is when she climbs onto James’ shoulders and rips his head off. It’s only a 5 second scene but it’s the most accurate badass Alice in the first movie.
I liked that you said you won't stop living your life when things are hard. I have this mentality, especially when I relapse, that I only gotta live properly after everything is "perfect" again. Which is a really toxic mentality to have when you have an ED and nothing is ever really perfect lol Thank you for your honesty and If you're feeling good and happy that's all that matters really, take your time and do what's the best for you 🖤
Twilight has its problems and inconsistencies but one thing I really really love is that the costume department knew what was up. they did such a good job in keeping the Cullens looking modern but holding onto pieces and cuts and hints of styles from the decade they were turned in. and even though Bella was just a normal teenager I think it's really cool that they gave her such a unique style that people have been copying since 08. for most movies costuming gets brushed aside but it really shows in any movie when costuming has a lot of thought put into it. Twilight 100% is one of those. even if Jacob's costumes consist mostly of one pair of pants and a wig.
Not a Twilight fan, but I just wanted to say that I feel like any of the top/vest combos would look amazing with a pair of skinny jeans. You really suit Alice's style, even if it is a little frillier/girlier/less gothic than you are used to; it truly suits you.
Also, I'm proud of you and the way you discuss your relapse. /hugs

@@endogladry I will always say, Meyer had some brilliant ideas and great world-building, she just chose the absolute wrong characters to focus on.

I want Volturi politics and vampire history, and how it coincides with our own history. Legitimate werewolves are said to exist in the books too, but they're only mentioned in passing once or twice when being contrasted with the very different "werewolves" of Forks. What the hell was Edward doing for 100-some years? Being emo I guess. This is why I liked The Short Second Life book, now that was fun world-building, I'll give Stephanie that.

I love that im not the only person who makes little cosplay-esque wardrobes of their favourite characters. Also, if you want to stay warm when layering its good to own thermals in plain colours and stripes, I feel like u could probably replace her undershirt 16:52 with a thermal and itd be relatively warm.

One thing that stood out to me with Alice in the books is that she wore long flowy dresses and skirts more in the book because she was supposed to be seen as very floaty like she was almost hovering when she walked. I liked that aspect of her in the first two books and was a tiny bit disappointed when I didn’t see anything like that in the movie!
Alice was my fave, I'd imagine that I was that girly and floaty. She's the absolute opposite of what I look like! But am a lot like the character inside...

Ahhh I was in high school when the books were coming out! It was so fun to anticipate the next and then go to the theaters to see the movies when the movies started. This made me so nostalgic! Fell in love with your videos and recognized a lot of me in you. So I told my psychologist who was testing me for borderline at the time, we got it properly checked and it turned out I am autistic! So I wanted to thank you just because! I’m glad I now know why my life has been such a struggle so far. I just got my diagnosis but I hope it will change everything for the better. Also I have Rosalies necklace (although Alice is my favorite character as well as Jasper lol) which I love to wear on days I'm feeling particularly nostalgic. I got it for full price when the Twilight movie was in theaters. Ive been a fan since the first book and have kept almost all of my Twilight merch out of pure love for the series. 🖤
