I could eat Cannoli every day, by far the BEST pastry in the World.
What a fun Airbnb Villa. Making Lasagna. Amazing bathrooms. Great place y'all. Erice is LOVELY! OMG Alison that Cannoli was HUGE. Looks so delicious. Italian desserts are INCREDIBLE! Eric you love Pizza. They actually looked amazing. So glad y'all enjoyed your time exploring Italy. Arrivederci!!
UNA CROCIERA! FANTASTICO!
"Can't go wrong with trying her goodies" 😆😆 love that you caught that!! You guys are adorable!
Quanto mi manca il cibo siciliano! 💕
Sicily is very diverse , things change very much from city to city and from town to town . Or doesn’t exist Sicilian pizza as the Rinata pizza for example doesn’t exist in Catania . I’m from Catania and when I went visiting a friend in Trapani and I read of this rinata pizza I was like , what is that ? Food , dialect , accent , all change so much from city to city . Catania , Palermo , Ragusa , Siracusa , Enna, Caltanissetta , Messina , all these cities have different foods , different accents and dialects ( even if there is come common roots ) .
Beautiful video, thank you, Adventurers!!
What a dream Sicily is! I enjoyed watching everything. That canoli was out of world, high quality can be seen easily. Also the pizzas look yummy!
You guys are seriously the cutest!! So so so likable!!!! I just had to subscribe and share your channel on my Facebook! 😍😍😍
Wonderful views and delicious food. You take us to some beautiful places.
Sicilian pizza holds a special place in my heart. I personally think it's the best (maybe i'm biased because I was born there LOL!). I hope you enjoyed!!!
That cannoli looks amazing! Never heard of the other pastry, but now we really wanna try it too! Lemon is my favorite!
10:48 And the sky (in the background) looks dark that early in the evening (looking through the window)!
that pizza looked amazing
It kind of looked similar to Pequods pizza in Chicago.
ok you can melt anchovies in a sauce pan and add it to tomato sauce ...so you get the flavour and not the visual
thats how i fool my daughter everytime i make a pizza ..she hates anchovies ..so she thinks haha
You guys are having fun yet it's cold here in North Carolina but your video brings warmth and comfort to so many, thanks
My ancestral homeland! Thank you!! And great pick of sfincione (pizza). Made just like Mom made it.
Endless fun! Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful views!
Yay! A cruise! You guys are awesome! Love your vids!
Oh, I love cannoli. We had 2 weeks holiday in Sicily last year, the Cannoli were so gorgeous that I had to find a recipe so I could recreate them when I got back to England.
Arancini are also very delicious for a snack. It
After a long day at work this video was exactly what I needed👌🏾 another great vlog guys😘
OMG you guys, so close to 300k! I've been subbed since you had like 20k. I'm so happy you've done so well. 🙂
November in Italy can be cold, but it’s so worth it
Ah we love Italy so much! The food, the culture, and the people are top notch 💯We'd love to get out to Sicily some day to shoot some vlogs, especially to try some of those home grown pastries! We live in a little town in the countryside, but somehow have an amazing authentic Italian baker who makes the most delicious Cannoli. Sooo good! ❤️
Beyond Your Doorstep impossible to find real authentic cannoli outside Sicily . Sheep milk is not much used outside Sicily . If you wanna try the real amazing cannoli you just have to come to Sicily and not even in any place . You need to find a good bar where they make them . So you need to ask to local people which place is the best .
@@salvolondon You're right, indeed!
You guys will soon be able to put together some great books on individual countries and/or how your tours unfolded. Epic.
Hi guys keep these great food related videos coming on, I love them 😍
Love your vlogs you two! Went to Sicily this year and loved it. We do Italy every year as our chill in June. But been watching your Japan vlogs as heading there next year once we have done California! Keep up the great work! X
I've never seen pizza served like that - they were like pizza jigsaws! Loved all the viewers and that villa looked pretty awesome! :)
Hey🥰 I’m from Sicily and I reccomend you to try ARANCINO!!
Not be the spelling police by I am of Sicilian ancestry, "tutti", (American citizen) and isn't it Arancini? or does the spelling change depending on the region of Sicilia you are in.
@@palermotrapani9067 arancini is the plural form of arancino. In Palermo we call it arancina - arancine though!
@@palermotrapani9067 I'm from prov ME sempre Arancino/i
@@cannetara Hi Josie. Thanks for the information. I thought the pronunciation may vary from province to province. On my Fathers side, my Paternal Great grandparents were from the province of Trapani, Valle Di Belice. My Maternal Great grandparents on Fathers side were from Agrigento (mountain community of Cammarrata) and Palermo provinces. Mothers family from areas in Palermo around Palazzo Adriano, where Guiseppe Tornatore filmed Cinema Paradiso and Chiusa Scalafani.
I visited Sicily in summer of 2019, felt totally at home and can't wait to get back. I visited everything from Palermo to Enna (Piazza Armerina). So next time, Messina, Ragusa, Syracuse and Catania as well.
Hi, I from South est Sicily the food is Fantastic, good holiday ciao
Love all of your videos!
Your link to the Il Carretto Pizza Restaurant led me to Melbourne, Australia. I wanted to go to Cicily!
Thanks for letting us know! We got it updated 😊
That villa looked beautiful, but it doesn’t surprise me! Italy has looked beautiful for the last few videos you guys have done! Safe to say I’ll be going sometime in my life! I’d definitely do what you guys did! Try all the pasta, pizza and desserts for that country. I’ve adored your road trip so much, it’s genuinely made me smile in a lot of parts! I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE CRUISE THOUGH!!! 🥰🥰💗
in a lot of dishes in italy there are ansjovis without you even knowing it. the often use it instead of salt
tomzxr79 anchovies also add that extra umami. They are like using MSG to boost the flavor of your food.
Pizza is well worth the wait! Great foodie ending. Can't wait to see you guys with Mark and Amanda ;)
Best wishes, James and Kim
You guys are so much fun. I sit imagining doing what you're doing. Thank you for all this Freaking fun. Best wishes from OZ
Beautiful Sicily Tour 👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
OMG SO SUPER CLOSE TO 300K SUBSCRIBERS!!!
The Villa is amazingly beautiful.. I would love to get information on this Airbnb so I can take my family there.. I am Sicilian but raised in Toronto Canada.. Would love to explore this beautiful place. Info would be great. Thank you. Sicily is truly beautiful.
Pizza looked amazing
Yeah
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
Wow almost 300k subscribers!! 💙💚💙....I remember when 30k
Upside Palermo there is a small town named Monreal, I strongly hope you visited, because of his extraordinary cathedral, containing the heart of San Lewis of France and Arab - Norman mosaics and decorations.
quelodequelo It’s in Italy, not Spain; I think you mean Monreale.
Those pizzas look amazing!
That villa is amazing. I want to stay there.
Què maravilla por Dios! 😍😍😍💚🙏🏻missed this place so much!!!
I’m really enjoying your videos.most you tubers travel and food video. Seem like advertising.I love your enthusiasm and how you share and present your experiences. You are making me want to go and see where you’ve gone to. Thank you!
Did you get a new camera or lens, the pics are so dynamic and clear 📷🎥❗️
Jana's great-grandparents come from Erice! So fun to see you there! One of our favorite meals there was at Gli Archi di San Carlo. What was your favorite meal during your time in Sicily?
Awesome video guys its a cool place Sicly and i have booked a Trulli for next year based on the last video 😀👍👌
Awesome vid. Enjoy Miami!
Awesome video! 😎
That villa looked amazing, wow! And so did the scenery.
But the aliens won't be too happy that you ate their flying saucer, lol :D
My wife really likes your backpack @3.57. Is it a brand ? Where did you buy it ?
Thank you.
My husband was born in Naples, his dad born in Palermo, he would tell me I have seen more of Italia than people who live there👍🏼
My mama was born in Palermo
If you bought this thing in suburban NYC---Long Island---you'd pay $2.5-4 million for that place, maybe more. Pretty classy, I would say!
Why travel in winter though? Summer is the best time
Pizza Margarita, Naples, most delicious
I wonder if half the 'mother in law's tongue' biscuits had hints of chilli in it and the others were really sweet? That could be so much fun! You wouldn't know which one you would get until you took a bite out of it :)
Yay yay yay !!! Have never been this early. Love the videos guys
Hi Allison! I love your backpack. Where can I get one?
Hey you two, great channel. Just wondering recommendation for an Airbnb in Chicago. Thanks in advance and keep you the good work!
So close to my island. Hope you can make it over to Malta.
Amazing! I love cannoli!! Although I am publicly judging you for taking this long to have a cannoli in Italy.
Excellent video
So, who won saying the word “amazing” the most in this video? Ha-ha!
what's the neme (link) to where you stayed at? and where is it?
I've loved watching your Italy trip! m going to Rome tomorrow for a solo trip - any suggestions based on your trip??
They did a video on it.
@@SgtSteel1 I know. I said in the comment watched the whole trip lol. when I said "suggestion based on their trip" I meant what they enjoyed the most of what they did.
@@SgtSteel1 Right? Watch the video and proceed on your own based on that! They are not our personal travel agents, and of course they wouldn't have the time! Jeez!
When you go to Palermo, you will have to try the Pani ca' Meusa - fried spleen sandwich!
I love you guys! I wanna be just like you when I grow up!😃
Love from karachi 😍😍
I would love to have a pizza one day in Italy to see if they are better.
Expats Reporter If you are used to the culinary dustbin/trash lids found across most of the English speaking world, then the you are in for a huge shock when you try a proper Italian pizza!
Everywhere in Italy selling authentic fresh pizza will make a product which is vastly superior to most pizzas that you find abroad, but Naples is the undisputed champion, something accepted by most people throughout the country.
Hil! We have been to Sicily in July '20 as well! Loved it, highly recommend as well. You can check out our road trip on the channel :) Hope you enjoy!
We are going to post new videos about Malta in November :)
This places looks Azaming
Awesome pizzas
What dates are you guys going on the cruise? My girlfriend and i will be in Miami from 27th Dec. We'll be driving up from Key West after spending Christmas there.
Would love to hang out with you two for lunch / dinner or a drink if you guys are around.
Oh AND... I think you will BOTH look great in your swim suits. Can't wait for the next vid from Florida. Enjoy.
Just so you know we have or are having a change in the law in the UK concerning the use of drones. If you come here you may want to research the new regulations.
Yay!
Use the bidet guys, don't be dirty
Ah, the perils of relying on a sat nav. Here the debate begins, ore-gano or oreg-ano.
Tony S Debate ended: in Italian it’s origano (pronounced o-REE-ga-noh); in English it’s oregano (pretty universally pronounced orry-GAR-no).
Do you speak languages?
Re-cō-ta, not Re-ca-da. Ricotta literally means recooked, so think of that when trying to pronounce it.
actually its pronounced ree-co-tta. ree like rihanna, co like co-op and tta with a strong emphasis on the T like tabboleuh salad.
😚😂 however ya wanna pronounce it .... It's one of the best and most delicious versatile cheeses ever.😘
Tomat-o...Tomat-a!!! lol😋👍
John Costantino The American English mispronunciation of the letter ‘t’ as a ‘d’ is a big problem in this type of vlog where they try to pronounce Italian (or any other European language) using an un-modified US accent - many words simply become unintelligible and often quite comical in a language where the precise and accurate enunciation of every letter is essential to understanding the meaning of the word, or the tense of the verb.
Pronouncing the ‘t’ as a ‘t’ is actually quite simple and easily done whilst attempting to use Italian (👍 a word usually pronounced correctly) in Idaly (👎 a word usually drawled out horribly!).
The Italian language is very beautiful but routinely mangled by most native English speakers wherever they come from: tagliatelle is horribly mutated into ‘tagg-lee-a-telly’ (should be ‘tally-a-tell-eh’); espresso = ‘expresso’ ; bruschetta = ‘brush-etta’ and so on (it should be ‘bruss-kett-ah’); unfortunately, the ‘t’ issue just makes our US friends the worst of the lot (‘gelado’ etc)!
How come it's only Allison that drives? Cheaper insurance, or does Eric not drive?
I think I remember her saying in a previous video that she preferred to drive.
That Pizza looks divine. And I love how it doesn't have that much cheese on it. I hate how Americans smother pizza with cheese.
Eric, dude! This is going to drive me crazy now... you're eating with your fork in your right hand. How can you do it lol
FYI. Cannoli is plural. If you are having just one it is cannolo. Having 2 it’s cannoli not cannolis. Like: One sandwich is pannino not panini. Biscotti is plural, one is biscotto. Hope this was helpful. Keep up the great work.
13:37 Arrabbiata?
Double yay! ;)
I need to stop watching you while being ill, when the sugar dust blew off the mini UFO I couldn’t get my breath - so funny! Dam you chest infection. The food looked so amazing though.
there's a plant in UK called mother in laws tongue!
Same here in the US lol
@@kwilson9824 Ah! But fo you have Busy Lizzies and my own fav Mind Your own Business?
Cannolo singular , cannoli plural .
Salvo Smith ...and you can order one panino or two panini!
No egg in a cannoli
I'm still trying to get you guys to come on the StarTrek Cruise with me! We party like its 2399!
In Italy we eat pizza with our hands!
A cannolo - singular
Cannoli - plural
Margherita Cardelli Ditto one panino and two panini.
Perugia
eat more!
One = Cannolo
Many = Cannoli
“Cannolis” isn’t a thing.
True in Italian, not necessarily true in English.
In your language you are able to change foreign words as you want. Italians says hamburger, film, corner, sport also in plural, without the final S.
Stu McCabe It’s an Italian word, not an English one. Furthermore, if you’re going to call something, you either call it correctly or you don’t, especially when it comes to proper nouns.
George L I was simply making the point that many words are adopted into English and take the common English plural ending. I think this is the case with "cannoli". English isn't controlled like French is by the "Academie Franscaise" - words are incorporated into English simply by useage.
George L : one more thing - cannoli is not a "proper noun" - google it!
