@@JoeBleeps 75% of the time the default emulator is fine but I do find that Vulkan works a bit better for PSP games. Even though CrossMix doesn't remember what emulator you changed to you CAN go and edit the file on your card to set a new default emulator. If you run in PSP games that 'studder' a bit or have crackle in the audio you can also try going into setting in the emulator (pressing menu) and set the frameskipping to '1' which reduced the FPS to 30. Depending on the game that might help a lot.
I have had a TSP for about 6 months and even over some other consoles I have tried, it remains my favorite. Crossmix (but even the stock OS) is the main reason for this.
TrimUI smart Pro is great value and performance for handheld, especially with crossmix on it,its really cheap on Alliexpress right now with sales prices..
That's an awful lot of hand held for such a low price, wow. They really nailed the design aesthetics and control layout too. It just LOOKS like a blast to play.
The TSP is a great budget choice for 50-60 usd and crossmix is really nice but the best os is still onion os on the miyoos. Knulli and rocknix are also nice.
@@citruesilver I love Onion OS but for me the thing about Crossmix is that I found myself messing things up by tweaking settings and getting stuck getting it back how it was, happens less on Crossmix for me

It's a good device, but struggles a bit for psp, Dreamcast and Saturn, can't reach 100% speed on many titles. For USD 40-45 price tag is a good choice.
It definitely depends on what you want to play. If you want those consoles or N64 you'd be disappointed. But for game boy advance, mega drive, playstation etc it's really great

Similar form factor but very different machines. With the price of the Retroid and the fact it is android based I would expect it to be much more capable. That said for everything up to PS1, and given how good this interface is, the Smart Pro is really good
50% capability for 25% cost... For its price its amazing but if you want really good psp performance you need at least a retroid pocket 3+. For gc and ps2 at least rp5...
hey I am confused with the purchasing options for example their is card only? does that mean no games just a blank sd card and does the default $99 with 128GB is what you are showcasing and has all the games?
@@Darvious3D The $99 option is the console with the 128gb loaded with everything you need. Yes the SD card is preloaded with the operating system and games, you also have the option to buy the console on its own, or if you've bought a console elsewhere you can buy just the SD card which will install Crossmix OS and also contains the games.

I would not recommend purchasing it with a loaded SD card. These SD cards are usually of very low quality and will quit working quite quickly. Better get yourself a proper card and put your games on.

Hey Joe, I have a GBA SP that has a non functional screen. If you think you can fix it I'll send it in. I've had others look at it with no such luck. I'm not an electrician by any means so it's all above my pay grade. It's a very old commemorative GBA and has a lot of memory attached to it. If you can fix it I'll do just about anything.

@@JoeBleeps Not really unless you open up the device. The difference is essentially that rev 3 comes with better heat sinks preventing overheating. That revision is about 6-7grams heavier. I believe that rev 1 came in the box that has a photo of just one device on the box - and rev 2 and 3 came with a box with multiple devices on the box.

That does look like a good console. Having WiFi for easy updates is a real strength to me though, I very much missed it on a few other handhelds when it came to updates
Hi I watched your videos their great. So I want to tell you that My Xbox series s controller’s LB bumper is broken because it fell on the floor quite a lot and when I turn on my Xbox and go to home page the sqaure arrow wouldn’t work when I click on the LB bumper one time but when I do click on the LB bumper button multiple times then the sqaure arrow would work but it would stutter so is there a way to fix my LB button on the controller? Also would you make a video on this as well?

Remember that with CrossMix you can press "X' before you launch the game and select what emulator you want to use.

I feel like I'm more inclined to go for this one than the Brick!
I've got a Brick on the way so I'll be able to compare the two soon but I think this one is likely more versatile for gaming, if not as portable
