This game was tied going into crunch time, and SGA outscored Tyrese by 40 POINTS!!!! Scoring 4 points in a game that was basically tied after 46 minutes. Ty was on the floor 35 minutes and scored 4. Just unacceptable, that loss is 100% on him.

Here's me campaigning again for the pacers to force Hali to get in the weight room. He's just pathetic at try to get to his spots because he gets bullied by everyone. Bro you're a professional athlete who doesn't strength train and it shows. Strength is what's missing from his game.

Overall, a pretty good game. Pascal was playing like he's pissed. Walker was phenomenal too, but the ball movement slowed. There was no late game offense they could find.. J-Will took them late in the 3rd. SGA killed in the 4th. Lu Dort 🔐.Hartenstein.. We needed one more player to step up big late. It's more like they didn't know what to do late game. Just keep moving the ball.. OKC defense is solid all around tho.. If Walker, Mathurin and Nembhard keep improving. That will help us a lot. I'm not sure why Hali can't seem to get going. It looks as if he has no legs.

Crunch time is star takeover time in the NBA. We were tied with 2 mins left, Ty literally barely touched the ball our last 3 important possessions. Just absolutely unacceptable from him. 4 points from a supermax guy, when the supermax guy on the other side has 45. Embarrassing.

Wheres halli at? 4th quarter 4 minutes left to go with scores tied at clutch situation still no where to be seen….. its crazy to think that in that condition uppon inbound our franchise supermax player doesnt have the apettite to even dribble the ball up the floor and initiate offense instead hes giving the ball to nembhard to dribble up the floor and getting it back in akward situation with shot clock under 10 most of the time.
Its just weird seeing halli today its like hes got no interest or apettite for the ball. Hope it doesn’t drag to the next game again.
I mean we dont need a 30 points halli every night, we have the luxury of deepd bench and plenty off role player but at least a 10-15 point and 10 assist halli will do the job just like in sacramento and golden state.

    • @Jerome-w4g
      @Jerome-w4g День назад

We need to ask rick about that. The whole game it was nembhard doing it. I think that was part of the game plan.

We need a 25ppg star to even think about being a contender and we supermaxed Tyrese, who showed he could do it over a large stretch of games. 10-15 points is not good enough from him. This fan base is so quick to settle for less, man.

Not surprising they ran out of juice after coming back from a west coast road trip. However, Tyrese playing like a role player instead of the team's star is ridiculous. He can miss shots. Everyone can have a bad shooting game. He just can't be a decoy the whole game.

Regarding Ty - Quinn Buckner said it perfectly tonight “He’s GOT to be a threat.” I don’t care if the offense is truly random - and his gifts are including everyone- it’s just basic strategy that if he is a threat it helps the team. Carlisle is protecting him as much as he can in the media. Ty has slumps and is too in his head at times. He is streaky this year. And everyone has a front row seat to it which only
Adds pressure but that’s the cooker he’s in. Have to find a way to bring the heat - not just take it - he can simmer and catch quick but he needs to be a threat to ignite and 6 attempts to shoot in a big game is a failure of coaching or decision making - and it prob cost us the game. Top tier teams test us and as we found out with Boston - it’s about who wins in the end they matters🎉

Hali hardly ever drives the ball into the paint,if he learns how to get a flaoter shot in the middle of the paint his game will explode.Mathurin is playing really well, but i wish he would quit pounding the ball before does anything towards the basket.Mathurin seems like he is so undecided what he wants to do,

Pascal's passivity is something that has not been addressed yet. It sucks bc I've seen take over games in Toronto, last season on the Pacers, but he hasn't done this year at all. Anyway, I feel that Tyrese still needs to add something to his offensive game. It's hard to see Shai shoot 22 shots and the Pacer stars not even shooting that much on most nights

Pascal is certainly more than capable of taking over and creating offence, but I believe he is NOT suppose to do so under Carlisle's offence. He is a capable Point Forward without a doubt! They have capable PG's and I get why he doesn't. He is not passive IMO, not at all, he is just playing within Carlisle's structure!

Concerning haliburton our starplayer😂........ is there someone realising/considering we have a back 2 back against thunder/celtics...it's all about smart rotations and picking your battles. Against certain defensive (plan) match ups you could say there's a certain off plan and you roll with it. And sometimes indiv you play A part. Last night they played (1 of) the best defensive teams with (1 of) the best defensive backcourts. Their def gameplan (you think the thunder have one🙃?) was ao neutralizing
lightning rod Hali. They (pacers) just came up short. Hali should play better, but sometimes you take what you are given and against okc, it was not a lot 4 hali. But that doesnt mean that they stopped playing they're brand of basketball. Smart reactionary teambasketball (shoutout AA).
(I didnt see the game so maybe i'm wrong about that...i like 2 believe most off the time they do)
If you think that nobody in this team is aware of certain buildups and forced adjustments (shoutout AA) within (a) game(s)....?
The pacers are a good team and well coached (in my opp) and they are showing some things they showed last year. Thats a pos/good thing. its a long season.
Hopefully, (don't want 2 sound 2 pos) they will regain momentum against the celtics, with Toppin as their leading scorer😉
