FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON // 2023 USA BMX Carolina Nationals

Finally, a weekend where I walk away with fulfillment! I never stepped off the podium with my first 17-20 win of the season on Friday, followed by a 3rd and 2nd in 17-20, then a 3rd in U23!
I gave it 100% every lap and learned from the small mistakes, so I’m proud of my results. After a rough start to the season, it was nice to have 5 weeks of training leading up to this race. I can’t thank my coach Donavon Long enough for staying with me and getting me prepared for this one. We made a lot of changes, and they seemed to work! In addition, huge thanks to Jamie Staff, German Medina, @usacycling, and all the riders and coaches for such a beneficial camp before this race. Super pumped, but the work continues!
