Greening STEM: Engaging Youth with Hands-on Microplastic Research

With support from NEEF and PPG Foundation, the newly launched Aqua Lab Adventures brings environmental science to 7th and 8th graders in Pittsburg, PA. This innovative program lets middle schoolers conduct microplastic research using paddleboards and microplastic trawls at Moraine State Park. Watch as students design scientific procedures, report their findings to national databases, and have fun learning about environmental science.
