Wow sly you’ve come a long way. I remember being subscribed to you when you had a few thousand and you just traveled Latin America. Proud of you, you never gave up
It all depends on the season, in Winter people go to the mountains have a dinner by the fireplace, some go to indoor pubs, you have some well known places that offer live performances and shows but its all dispersed all over Lebanon mainly its North side, from Monot Street and Gemayzeh to Batroun and Byblos....
Suprised to see so many lights and lit up shops. Was this filmed during one of these short periods when electricity was on or is it all just private generators?
Hey Sly , not sure if the vibe is still around but Gemayze and Jounieh had door to door pubs and night clubs along the entire main street of their respective areas
Thanks for pointing out the Gemayze part , last I been there and Mar Mikhael it was too crowded to walk on either sides of the narrow road with an endless traffic of non moving cars, looks so empty now :( @@souadghazal2533
@@malkatheexplorer4029 Do you think all of the people in countries that have been bombed knew it was going to happen before it did? Events and changes can occur very rapidly. It’s just not smart being close to a country/area that is known for things going left real quick. Sounds like to me you don’t have much common sense and are the type that has to see it to believe it.
I mean shit can happen literally anywhere in the world. Don't random shootings happen in the first world countries? If this is your mentality then people shouldn't leave their houses anywhere in the world
Sly looking to see what's happening with the brothers from Hezbollah.😂 I notice Muslims are more relaxed in Lebanon. No headress required for women, bare arms, etc.

mostly private generators...
This area is rich, mostly private generators, the electricity problem is in areas like the sourh
Traffic is crazy! Looks like a lot of people block other peoples parked car too.
Lebanese are always live under assumption they will be getting attacked by the illegals and basically there is no government
you should interview people and ask them where they were when the explosion happened and how the city was during that time
Or definitely not.
lol people dont mind going to africa documenting all of the terrible things that happened their constantly, whats the difference @@carpediem44
It would be interesting if he talks to some people there and gets their perspective. Looks like it could be any larger city in the world.

Why Fridays are more lively it's cus it's the Muslim day off
Not Shabbat nor Domenica
Lebanon Friday is a labor day .. Sabbath and Dominica are holidays
Lebanese here, working days monday to Friday, Saturday sunday off, Friday and Saturday more active at night cz no work the day after.
You should visit the Dahyia quarter
Nope don't😂
The religion of peace. It should stay where its at! Cheers
Performances 😂
Why are you in a war state? Be careful sir 🙏🏽
Cool people, great food. It’s on my list of places to go.
😂😂😂😂 Sounds like your travel comes from watching the news, which is a bunch of Bologna. It's not a war state😂😂😂😂
You're missing out because these are the places that are the best to visit😆
