based on my research Powersoft, Lab and Crown are indeed the amps to have. personally i would go with Crown because i'm a Harman fanboy and Crown seems to have better bang for the buck while still offering great quality. i used to think QSC was that - bang for the buck with good enough quality - but i no longer think QSC is good enough. one potentially interesting amp brand is DYNACORD which seems to be a division of Bosch / Siemens of Germany.
I have about 5 of the QSC PLX3602 and i love them they sound awesome. However, they don't compare to these amps. These amp are one step above the 3602. peace !
FYI you can now achieve in excess of 180kw using the full bridge class D amps from Brazil. IKR - I myself have a stack of 10k FFA amps I worked hard for but brazilians are at the fore front

18000watts at 4ohm? Nonsense. The fact that we normally use 3x 18s a channel on crowns is enough. 18000watts to 3 speakers would not sound better or bigger than 3000watts to 3 due to speaker ohms. The best advice is to use amplifiers with 4 channels packing about 2500 watts per channel at 8ohm. That way you can use high powered double 18 subs. The Lab 14k and 20k are good examples. 8 to 10 double 18s will rock any event and they'll only need 2 amps to do it. The other reason 18000watts makes no sense, is it just a high voltage? Which power supply/cable supports that kind of draw? Certainly not the ones on powersoft amps
We built a sound room/movie theater underground. We had 2, custom made 23" subs in our sound room.. we had originally purchased a power soft amp to run the subs but for some reason the subs sounded like they were starving for power so we purchased a crown 7000 watt amp that gets these subs flying out of there cabinet. When you lay into the volume on a bass heavy track it will make your eyes water it's so intense. As far as I'm concerned no power soft amp will do what a crown will do. Come on the name says it all. Power Soft! Not me I'm power heavy!

Amplifers have something called crest factor, being able to output 18000watts overall doesn’t mean it has to draw 18000watts of power. K20 specifically draws about 10amps on 240volt (before clipping)
Crest 10001 will still mop the floor with any of those because it's rated for continuous output, not short bursts like the new amps, also compare the distortion levels at high power. All these new SMPS amps are nice for the features and if you tour a lot but in 10-15 years they will be throwaway e-waste when the manufacturer stops servicing them or stocking the modules/chips/software.
15k @2ohms briged and 10k @4ohms bridged and one amp is so fucking big and heavy and if you running a concert you will need 4x soo its not gonna be easy to transport at all and keep in mind the powersofts are slim rack units which are not heavy and easy to transport. Also the powersofts are rated 18k @4 ohms briged AT CONTINUOUS power not bursts.

The powersoft k20 give you more watts per channel it gives you 9000 @ 2 ohms and the x8 is 5200 watts # 2 ohms and the pkn h8 gives you 9200 watts @ 2 ohms.
You cannot judge an amps buy it wattage just like that .Wattage in s important yes .But the frequency of which the amp plays is important to know if it's best for bass or for mid . I have a qsc 1850hd and a rmx2450 which is more powerfull.But believe me the 1850 play a deeper bass hence that's my bass amps for my 4 1500watt 15 inches blastking speakers .they beat the hell with bass .
Brazilian high voltage amplifiers will shit on all pa amplifiers , pa amps are limited to ac voltage from the main . Brazilian high voltage are powered from 12v batteries run in series from all the way up to 400vdc and those amps are .5 ohms stable full range
Hay otras marcas mas económicas y de igual wattage que esos q presentaste en este video y con la diferencia q trabajan a 2 y a 1 ohmios y soportan más trabajo q los crown.... He usado todas esas marcas y crown no es para trabajo pesado y es muy caro prefiero marcas como TechVOX, QSC, lab grupen, american audio tienen mejor respuesta que esos crown

You can only trust the 8 ohm power output specs, 3kw max per channel on a 32 amp plug forget anything higher, if its 3k per channel at 8 ohms brilliant as it will run 4 subs per channel at a 2 ohm load continuously at about 750 Watts per sub x8 total, this is with impedance rise to 8 ohms with some drops to 4 ohms where the amp will still only be doing 3kw per channel even if the manufacturer says 6k per channel at 4 ohms lol,, this is bullshit, if the amp is 3k at 2 ohms per channel then not so good as it will almost always be no where near that output even driving 4x 8ohms in parallel down to 2 ohms per channel, it will be at about 8 ohms with rise and the 3k at 2 ohms will be about 1400 at 8 ohms so about 350 Watts per sub continues, basically nothing,, so if your going to buy a new bullshit amp get one that's above 2500 Watts per channel at 8 ohms and that's what you will see, but saying its 8k per channel is unbelievable bollox, most of these new amps run on 1.5mm cords, 16 amps rated, the ffa 10000 has two 20 amp inputs for a real 3k per channel, the lab gruppen 13000 has one 16 amp input and under test conditions the most I see it pulling is 20 amps at 240 volts so 20x240= 4800 then - 20% for efficiency loss =3840 divide by two = 1920 Watts, and guess what?? That's exactly what I see it doing max per channel at 8 ohms 4ohms or 2ohms,, you can't get out more than you put in, these amps are not magic

Go to see a show with a huge PA system, with bass that impresses you, and see what they are using. Save up for a long long time and buy that.

I think Powersoft k20 and lab gruppen plm20k44 are most powerful.. it's all European quality.. and lower distortion amplifier..

thats bc the 1850 is High Damping . it is built with larger coils and recovers faster . there for cleaner sound
