I completely agree, Megi Moon. In fact, I suspect that when she gets to be Senku's age, she will be as smart as him, if not smarter. Other than Kohaku and Kaseki, Senku has a sibling relationship with many of the primary characters. Kohaku is his confidant, and whether he wants to admit it, his future love interest. Kaseki is a surrogate grandfather to Senku. Suika is definitely Senku's surrogate little sister. And he protects her, watches over her, spoils her, and teaches her. And Chrome is close little brother who he is intentionally molding to be his replacement in the event he dies during his conflict against Tsukasa. Much like his old man, Senku thinks many moves ahead, and implements contingency plans.
Imagine if Senku never told Suika "science turns away nobody" but judged her as a useless kid instead. Everything Suika accomplished wouldn't have happened. Shout-out to my favorite watermelon
i dont think there has ever been a show in which i loved so many characters. Even magma is growing on me and i bet my ass that he´s gonna glutch up against Tsukasa

Jess5_11 someone online pointed out to me that Senku got his own lab from from his Dad on Christmas and that’s why he has a sentimental spot for the holidays. That’s a crazy attention to detail if it was done on purpose
Material like tungsten are not common in Japan so it's pretty clever that senku doesn't know what it looks like all that much. Love the attention to detail

Further proof how AWESOME Suika is, staying up all night to search through the rocks to find the one to help Senku and without realising it found something that even Senku had never seen before. You can probably tell she is my favorite character. (side note, Suika didn't fall asleep in the manga, she literally stayed up all night in order to help senku)
The only problem I had with this episode is training/practicing with real swords. One thing you'd realize about this series is that EVERYBODY has a role to play! Suika, Eri and Phil need their own show!

Saying that an antagonist is going through a character arc when he's going to be alone with the protagonist for an episode is common sense. Of course we are going to learn something about him. Of course he's going to have character development. That's what you do in a story. Saying that a super obvious thing is going to happen is not a spoiler. Anyone who knows the first thing about story structure (like, oh I don't know, a reviewer) would have been able to pick up on that with 5 seconds of thought. Real life examples would be "Voldemort has an evil plan for the end of the school year". Not a spoiler. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together would be able to figure that out. The next one is one of the most famous spoilers of the series, but SPOILER ALERT, Snape kills Dumbledore is a spoiler.
