I suppose they are also praying to You now and ask You what do You need me to do, Lord? What kind of faith would that take? Lord Jesus, I am asking You now, what can I do for those in such horrible circumstances, without their houses, lost everything and some has lost love once, Lord please help me with understanding and to pray effectively for millions around the world in total sadness. Forgive me Lord, it is very easy to ask You for my next step, sitting cosy on my bed with hot coffee in my hand, I really cannot imagine the suffering, my tears are rolling, please help me and direct my prayers. But please pray that the Lord "Would be the lifter of my head" My story is a long one..but I ALMOST stepped out in faith at Church and I was "Shot down" by 2 pastors. I have a message from the Lord..IT IS FROM THE LORD for the body of Christ. And BOTH of them mocked me from the Pulpit. I am a person with low self esteem, and rejection all my life. Your analogies are spot-on! The ladder was a great way to demonstrate that WE have a role to play in our future. We can't just sit back and wait for God to move, like just holding on to His word isn't enough. There's a reason we call it a LEAP of faith because most of the time we don't have ALL the details we need to make that critical decision. True faith is like headlights on a car at night. We can't see ALL the way down the road, but if we have faith, we can see enough, and we can make it the whole trip that way. Thanks for your prayers...
