I miss my dad. I’m 46 but I feel like a frightened child knowing he’s no longer here. It still crushes me to know he’s gone and this song bring all the melancholy I felt during his passing right back in full force.
I want to see my dad but I feel like he is disappointed in me or just doesn't really care much about me any more idk it's weird or I think I'm just the problem I don't care about him.. I'm just scared to move forward in life because I know whatever I will try new now like start a family or driving I will fail and just make a mess of it so I'm just stuck and still in this weird spot until some miracle happens

Wow, this song made me tear a little bit. I haven't some suicide issues or problems like that. It's just this song gave me calmness in my heart like calm water. After 7 years when I swore that I won't live in my country until the end I finally achieved that. I felt like I was trapped in cage, behaving like others around me wanted, despite the fact that I hated it. I'm shy, introverted, not talking much to other people, even with family. But I tried being helpful to other as much as possible, despite the fact that 90% of cases I regret that I was helping. Being honest, patient and selfless person who even wanted help others even if it meant to hurt myself. And after 7 years studying, i finally got a Job in another country (700km away from home). Finally Can be myself. Today i was on job disscusion to get a job and in a new year i Can work there. Again, alone, but free.
It's like an ending of 1 chapter,and start of another chapter in my book. I'm speechless that I managed to get that far.
Even though I probably wrote this down just to let feelings go from me, whoever read this, just think that NOTHING is impossible. You must be focused on that goal no matter what. Life give you Risings and Downfalls, but you must keep going forward. With life. Past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is gift for you, which is called "present".
SO, keep heads up and push forward. One day you will make it. And after that, you can lie down in bed, close your eyes, play this or similar music and "read" your own chapter.
