Idea, play Dooey-Don't. If the point is 5,6,8,9 pick up the Don't and play it out. If the point is 4 or 10 put odds on the Don't, especially if the 4 or 10 is the 2nd, 3rd, etc.. point.
In Blackhawk at the Horseshoe they don't take the vig up front, I play there weekly it's the only casino in Colorado that only takes the vig on the win and not up front 👍

I like flat bets better ! Odds behind the passline is just another rip off from the Casino! For example if you have a 10$ passline bet and let's say the point is 4 and you want 2x odds behind the line! If you hit the 4 you'll get 10$ on the flat and 40$ in odds total profit of 50$ ! Let's say I don't have a passline bet and I buy the 4 for 30$ ! Same amount you have invested! I'll get paid 60$ minus 2$ vig so 58$ vs your 50$ ! The same goes for any of the numbers ! So imo just placing the box bets is far better! The pass line in my opinion is only good for comeout 7&11s ! Hope that makes sense

You could do that if you like but then that's adding risk as well but I like it

I prefer the inside mostly because here in Colorado, they charge the vig up front. But I've played the outside and still won with this strategy.
Yeah I don't like vig up front ! That's a ripoff! I like the insides too! But I love the outsides when I'm shooting
