A voiceover of what tools you're using to create what effect would be cool. Also more texture on the print surfaces would be cool.

So cute! You are such an arteest! Thank you for sharing the process. I do agree with the other post that a little voice over regarding your decisions and such would have been more helpful. All in all, thank you for sharing. I look forward to the next one.

Thanks so much! After reading the feedback, I think I'll try to set up a microphone as I work on the next model.

Those sculpts look fantastic, I’m actually a little bummed you didn’t record the full process for the more complex mummy as well! I agree with the other comments that a voice over explaining your thought process would have helped keep up the engagement! The music selection is also very sleep inducing and might have benefited from a higher tempo (maybe some jazz!). I’ll admit I turned up the playback speed to 1.5 for the sculpting segment, which shortened the video length by a few minutes but didn’t lose any of the info, so making these a time lapse format with further edits to cut out repetitive sections like where your smoothing multiple creases in the mesh might help the flow and keep the videos feeling tighter. But if you just need some simple-to-produce videos to reduce stress these are still fascinating!

Great tips! I think the next video will include some more editing and voice overs.

I love the fact that you are making something new on nomadsculpt, Always been a big fan of the vids since your cameo in a voidstar vid, Hope your next couple projects on nomad sculpt turn out even better.

Thanks so much! I'm enjoying the process of learning this entirely different skillset. I still owe the majority of my viewers to that kind mention by Zack :)

NomadSculpt is pretty good though so i think you'll easily have it down pat by the end of the month.

This was great tbh I did fast forward a bit. I think you should do it like you did the mummy scene at the end explaining a bit about what your doing then speed through to the next part

I could go either way on the video format. I like to watch the process and enjoyed this vid. I can appreciate all the hard work that went into a project that way. Plus people that don't watch to watch can fast forward. An easy way to try and make everyone on the internet happy LOL.I'm always amazed at anyone who can bring life to a person or object by sculpting or carving, weather physically or virtually. My mind isn't blessed in that way. I'm more of a problem solver, tinkerer, "find the lazy/efficient way to do something" type. PS. I don't think I could have played on my iPad that long without taking a "Hub" break haha. Looking forward to everything leading up to October!

Damn. Forgot to put I loved the 'pop-up video' style comments. Kinda hard to read while watching but still nice to know what was happening during the moment.

Thank you! I especially appreciate the feedback on the video format, as I'm still trying to figure out what would work best for these sorts of projects :)

How about a couple of vampires? You could do a coven of witches too. Or maybe a goblin tribe! But if you do sculpt goblins, it would only be right if you sculpt goblin slayer as well 😆

Yhis really was a fascinating watch. I would've loved a voice-over narration through the whole process to learn how and why you did certain things. Overall, quite enjoyable, Joe.

Glad you like it! I'll look into setting up a microphone with my next recording session. The bonus clip at the end of this video was sort of a mid-step toward exploring that option... unfortunately, the audio quality is only "okay".

Have to say I like to end part better where you explain what tools you're using and why with some context. It is hard to grasp something from just a time-lapse, so a voice over at that part, with ways you tried to go, where the design comes from would allow others to learn something from your experience.
I've never modeled something in a sculpt program, but only in VR with Open Brush, this is really fun! So if you're looking for some more ways of creating 3D models! Keep up the good work!

This was on an iPad Pro. Nomad Sculpt + a stylus makes the process really intuitive!

could've used a made-up story about a dog to fill the silence 🐕

I would like the format more if you spoke and told us what you were doing. I never cared for silent videos or ones with music in the background. Might just be me though :) Nice change of pace with the sculpting. I have Nomad installed but never got serious about it.

Thank you for the feedback! I plan to play around with the format this month, so the next video might be closer to what you're looking for. I hope the videos inspire you to open the program up and poke around with what it can do :)
