I was in the US Army for 22 years with 19 of those in the infantry, we use to challenge our soldiers to gut it out and stay the course, I have to say that the bari sax girl (who fell) and the entire band could pass any challenge put before them. Great job Tachibana.
From 25:15 to 25:24, it looked like the euphonium was literally floating in the air, even when the player was dancing vigorously while holding it, the instrument hardly moved an inch, she must have practiced the dance so many time until she perfected it.
As soon as the band stop 20:21 the band booster supporter approached the barisax player and ask if she okay..this only show how tough is the band training was...they are strong enough to withstand adverse conditions and continue playing...KYOTO TACHIBANA SHS Band has proven to be the best entertainer band !....With originality and uniquenes !...Sugoi ! - avid fan from Philippines/USA

I've been watching this girl's activities over and over since 2018 pasadena and they never failed to amazed me every single time i watched them,its enjoyable to watch them as they are enjoying what they are doing, the smile on their faces and the quality of the music was not compromise inspite of their movements and instruments weight, its really amazing....
Look at the minute 19:42'', the girl playing the bari sax falls down and her knee starts bleeding, she must be in deep pain obviously, anyway she continued playing, marching and dancing... She was so brave, she represented very well the spirit of the Tachibana Band, Bravo Girl !! 🌸👍👏
I was really hoping you would record this event after your last Tachibana video. I haven't watched it yet but I've already given it a thumbs up because I know it's going to be perfect 👍❤️ Edit; I have watched it now and I loved every minute. Great quality video. That single leg turn while playing a trombone has got to be a real tough one to master perhaps more so than with other instruments. I can only imagine the enthusiasm of the new "recruits" looking forward to the time when they get their orange skirts.
Yes soon as they got their instruments they will wear their orange uniforms.... but they will under go to much tougher training... without complain... If you watch some of those rigid training they were all sweating, tired, no drinking, just sip of water.... and their answers are.... HAI... or yes.... you will never heard... NO. That's why I have a great respect to their organization... the worlds best.... can't compare even here in USA.... I notice also not one have tattoo, body piercing, no cosmetics.... and nobody is over weight....
This is my 5th times watching there video of my favorite world class group band SHS TACHIBANA, i love SHS TACHIBANA!! I never miss watching there video,including there performance in Pasadena 2018..
So great quality! It's truly like a movie, some scenes are not perfectly shot but they look real, not just raw shot, and nicely edited. My fav was when the camera moved while they were performing stand still sing sing sing and then captured the little girl in tachibana outfit and flag, it made something burst inside my chest ❤️❤️❤️ thank you for the work, and nice thumbnail
So great, as always ! The new guys sound just as good and they all seem to enjoy it as much as we do. Can't wait to watch them at more events this year.
Well, once again your video and editing is superb, Not sure which is more impressive the quality of the sound, or the steady and free flowing images.....the excellent close up of the students, from the smiles, to the bari sax player falling down at 19:43, while in the back ground the photographer didn't flinch and jerk the camera around, everything is nice and smooth. Quality work that we have come to depend on. Your team is excellent, you know what you want to show, and how you wish to portray each scene. As in all your other video's.....the final product never disappoints Once again,.... Arigatou gozaimasu. :-) :-).
@@freddybigs10 Agree, that has got to be a stinging pain at the least. Gravel rash always is. Maybe it is time they had radio communication among the headteacher and support staff so that they were aware of everything that goes on along a parade route. Actually quite surprising that it has not been something they have instigated so far. Maybe a funding problem. Schools seem to never have enough money to spend on external activities such as a Band Club. The filming, on the other hand, is excellent and a big thank you to the Anna team that has brought it to us.
Two of the Curb Side Marshals were aware of the fall. They offered to render aid, but BariSaku - chan choose to continue the march. By the time of the afternoon Parade. BariSaku - chan's knee was cleaned and ready. She marched next to French Horn - chan just ahead of the First Graders. She has great stamina of the Kyoto Tahibana Club. d:)

Overall a very nice smooth presentation. I especially like the sound recording which I think is better then other videos I have watched of this event. The only nit is the image saturation seems to waver a bit from shot to shot. For example: compare 2:38 which is nicely balanced to 2:40 which is a little over the top. I assume this is due to using more than one camera. In setups like this its best to use exactly the same camera for each photographer and to calibrate them together at the beginning of the shoot.
Good effort to get the best immage and especially the sound, quite difficult to get a decent sound under the circumstances .The band was very small (lost 13 members plus the graduates) One flute, one french horn,two sousaphones, and open air !!!!! Ana Film Production : hat's off to the well done job.
Wiljam van den Bulk: i do not know why ,but in addition to the 39 who graduated from the band in December and from the school in March it looks like 13 more have left the band .They should have been left about 69 and they are only 56.It is unheard off! We can only speculate .There are also other absences like Coach Yokoyama and assistant director of the wind club Miss Akemi Hayami. Again , we can only speculate.
I was waiting and hoping that you were going to be at Blumen Hugel. My patience was rewarded with your video posting. Again, very nice thumbnail for the video. The color grading of the video is overall very good. In some of the clips the color is just a little too saturated but other clips are spot on and just right. The Cinematic look is just gorgeous. And from the stabilized footage, I can tell you must be using gimbals because the shots are very steady. Thank you for that. Shaky footage is not pleasant to watch. From the angle of the shots, I assume you are using multiple cameras and people. Nice merging and synchronization of the video clips in post production! I have one question. In that parade one of the two girls who play the Saxophone Baritone falls and hurts her left knee, 20:36 exactly the girl on the left falls on her knee and gets up quickly but already had her knee hurt 21:01 and she finished the parade with blood on her knee. 25:13 Current DM in the middle of the screen!

I must say I liked the opening title shots. It would be nice if it had been a few seconds longer. That makes me think an opening title scene of a field of California Poppies would be quite nice. The orange Poppies would match their nickname and uniform color.
hard to believe that 1 and 2 years back the members would have been following clapping the hours they put in is outstanding as well as doing there school work
Hard to believe that just 3 weeks after this video was filmed the new students following at the back are playing and dancing with the rest of the band at the Brass Expo event: ruclips.net/video/PTrARauryHU/видео.html On this occasion the new students are easy to identify by having whiter tee-shirts and wider stripes on their pants. The lone flautist is joined by five new flautists!
If you meet such a group, you may chase after them like those children in fairy tales.. A dance band that conveys all the ways to enjoy music, playing, singing, and dancing with a smile. Young people who love music and people. It may be the best art in human culture.

Why is there only 1 flutist? I'm not complaining or anything but i just noticed it even in previous events.. anyhow great job! Do they have an anime version of these guys?
The reason is, most of the seniors are retired, during the intense training they will be there to guide the new members, those new one are at the back of the band, clapping.... those in uniforms are 2nd and 3rd graders and seniors who stayed but not all.... in Japan it's only 3rd yr or graders.... All will under go rigorous training, under the strick supervision of the music teachers and seniors.. then marching 5 miles or 3 km.. and just imagine they were still kids, they will soon join other events in some cities and prefectures, local contest and eventually national competitions... hopefully in 2020 at the Pasadena Rose Parade... I wish... in full force of 200 members or more...

I winced when I saw that. Ouch. It appears it did not affect her knee because she looked like she was walking fine in the afternoon parade. But it will sting for awhile. What I don't understand is why the Farm, knowing that Kyoto Tachibana is going to march and dance on that pavement, left the pothole like that. That is a safety hazard and / or an accident waiting to happen for customers of the Farm, not to mention a marching and dancing band like KT. It must have been this way for awhile so I don't see any excuse for not fixing it. But ...just my opinion and just saying because I don't like seeing people get hurt, especially any KT Band Member.

I noticed that about piercings and tattoos. No way, not for me. They are all too beautiful to mess up their bodies with that stuff!

19:41 サックスの子、大怪我に至らななかったみたいで本当に良かった。だけど、この変な「くぼみ」はハッキリ言って危険だよ。大きな楽器を演奏している子たちは足元が見えにくいと思うし、イベント主催者側の方でもっと気を使って事故防止のリスクアセスメントと有効な対策を事前にやってほしかったなと思いました。
京都橘吹奏楽部は世界最高レベルのパフォーマンスを私たちに見せてくれています。事故防止のリスクアセスメントも世界最高レベルであるべきだと思います。でも一番感動したのは、転倒後もすぐさまに立ち上がりその後膝から血を流しながらもマーチングを最後までやり通した彼女の「ガッツ」です。感動をありがとう！！
今後コースの下見徹底して、生徒の安全確保お願いします！

午後の部、一番後ろだったけど歩けたのを見て少し安心しました。
もちろん結果論になりますが、これは「未然に防ぐことが可能な事故」だったと思います。事前に適切な補修できなかったのであれば、せめて「くぼみ」の上にパイロンを置くとか、コースを多少調整するとか、事故防止対策はいくらでもできたはず。大人たちの過失や過信が原因でマーチング中のメンバーが不意に転倒したりする事故は、「あってはならないこと」だと思います。
バリサクさん、楽器をかばって、よけいにヒザをすりむいたように見えます。
楽器命がとっさに出たんでしょう。午後のパレードでは最後尾を手拍子で歩いていましたが、傷は目立たず足取りもしっかりしてましたね。楽器も（たぶん）無事だったので良かった。
今後は、パレードコースの凸凹はアスファルトで部分補修してほしいですね。

同意しまーす。怪我については、ガッツがあるのは分かります、でも血がにじんでますよね～２回目のシングのときに少しでも処置が出来たんじゃないかと思いました。本人は気丈にも大丈夫って言ってるかもしれませんが、周りの大人が気付いてあげないとだめじゃないでしょうか？現に２回目の演奏は取りやめてるわけだし、それなりの怪我だったって言う事じゃないのでしょうか？

Overall a very nice smooth presentation. I especially like the sound recording which I think is better then other videos I have watched of this event. The only nit is the image saturation seems to waver a bit from shot to shot. For example: compare 2:38 which is nicely balanced to 2:40 which is a little over the top. I assume this is due to using more than one camera. In setups like this its best to use exactly the same camera for each photographer and to calibrate them together at the beginning of the shoot.

本当に京都橘高校の吹奏楽部は素晴らしいですね。
入部した時から厳しい練習に耐えながら先輩になって、今度はそれを後輩に伝えて行く姿は伝統芸そのものだと思います。
ローズパレードで活躍してパりんぷさん、あやかさん、ライちゃさん、ゆるモわさん、たまちゃんなどO-VILSで見られるのが嬉しいですね。
本当に新型コロナ以前は京都橘吹奏楽部のマーチング全盛期だったと思います。

Good effort to get the best immage and especially the sound, quite difficult to get a decent sound under the circumstances .The band was very small (lost 13 members plus the graduates) One flute, one french horn,two sousaphones, and open air !!!!! Wiljam van den Bulk: i do not know why ,but in addition to the 39 who graduated from the band in December and from the school in March it looks like 13 more have left the band .They should have been left about 69 and they are only 56.It is unheard off! We can only speculate .There are also other absences like Coach Yokoyama and assistant director of the wind club Miss Akemi Hayami. Again , we can only speculate.

I was waiting and hoping that you were going to be at Blumen Hugel. My patience was rewarded with your video posting. Again, very nice thumbnail for the video. The color grading of the video is overall very good. In some of the clips the color is just a little too saturated but other clips are spot on and just right. The Cinematic look is just gorgeous. And from the stabilized footage, I can tell you must be using gimbals because the shots are very steady. Thank you for that. Shaky footage is not pleasant to watch.
From the angle of the shots, I assume you are using multiple cameras and people. Nice merging and synchronization of the video clips in post production! I have one question. What aspect ratio are you using for the videos? 2:1? 3:2?

In that parade one of the two girls who play the Saxophone Baritone falls and hurts her left knee, 20:36 exactly the girl on the left falls on her knee and gets up quickly but already had her knee hurt 21:01 and she finished the parade with blood on her knee.

I must say I liked the opening title shots. It would be nice if it had been a few seconds longer. That makes me think an opening title scene of a field of California Poppies would be quite nice. The orange Poppies would match their nickname and uniform color.

他の動画を見ていると音質が悪く『え』？と思っていましたがAnnaさんの動画を見て映像とても良いし音質が違うマイクの性能がいいのかなただ昨年までの橘と違うので少し心配。横山コーチを見なくなってからかパーカス隊以外は張りが無いような気がする。

Why is there only 1 flutist? I'm not complaining or anything but i just noticed it even in previous events.. anyhow great job! Do they have an anime version of these guys?
Those 44 kids the back will join them too,, most those in front were all seniors....
The reason is, most of the seniors are retired, during the intense training they will be there to guide the new members, those new one are at the back of the band, clapping.... those in uniforms are 2nd and 3rd graders and seniors who stayed but not all.... in Japan it's only 3rd yr or graders....
All will under go rigorous training, under the strick supervision of the music teachers and seniors.. then marching 5 miles or 3 km.. and just imagine they were still kids, they will soon join other events in some cities and prefectures, local contest and eventually national competitions... hopefully in 2020 at the Pasadena Rose Parade... I wish... in full force of 200 members or more...

She's in science highschool so i think she could cope with the studies.. i keep telling her studying inside the classroom isn't everything.. it's good but she needs to go out more and do some activities..

I winced when I saw that. Ouch. It appears it did not affect her knee because she looked like she was walking fine in the afternoon parade. But it will sting for awhile. What I don't understand is why the Farm, knowing that Kyoto Tachibana is going to march and dance on that pavement, left the pothole like that. That is a safety hazard and / or an accident waiting to happen for customers of the Farm, not to mention a marching and dancing band like KT. It must have been this way for awhile so I don't see any excuse for not fixing it. But ...just my opinion and just saying because I don't like seeing people get hurt, especially any KT Band Member.
