I remember Lion Brand Jiffy Yarn, from (I think) over 20 years ago! Lion brand is still listing it as a discontinued yarn. I'll have to grab some, I really liked it.

I’m watching but had to comment b4 the video finished. I used LB Jiffy back in the 1980s/1990s, most of them were variegated but they were less yardage. Truly a blast from the past.

Yap, everything acrylic or polyester, little bit of cotton, try to find angora. Cashmere, merino, mohair etc , at list wool good % of it

Very nice! I particularly liked the K/C yarn. It looks like it has angora In It! The Eggplant color was gorgeous, too! I love the plummish colors!

I love the loop yarn at joann's the only problem I have is everytime I go shopping there I can never find what I m looking for or they don't have enough . How can I get wat I want when it's in the store. Goldsboro N.C
I made a decent size blanket with 3 skeins of the Jiffy yarns, and it’s so soft and warm.

I remember jiffy yarn from years ago
The first kc yarn was for winter. I bought some and made a scarf and hat. It was nice to work with.
That’s my Joann’s and I have no idea how it wasn’t packed. Ever time I go in the parking lot is full and tons of people.

Hi great video! From my understanding touch of cashmere was discontinued - I got some last year at a discount store. So perhaps they just have some old stock? I’ve used it it’s nice. I’ve also tried touch of angora.

Ginger, please, please, please can you drop the "music" in your video voice overs, PLEASE!! It drives me nuts especially when it is an annoying (for me) one like this one (was it Jingle Bells or 12 Days of Christmas you had on one of the crochet demos of Xmas stuff ?? hsd to stop watching) It makes me lose track of what you are saying and also, sometimes, it makes it difficult for me to actually make out what you are saying even though you don't normally have it overly loud. I've always hated films with loud music soundtracks especially with quiet dialogue. Been watching a lass on RUclips that came up listing her 10 female autistic traits, then 12 more. She was only diagnosed at 25. My grandkids, two of them particularly, were diagnosed on the autistic spectrum last year ... which I believe, after watching that video, they have inherited from me...... Listening to her was like a checklist, that's me, that's me, that's me and as a child I was like that, I was like that.....
I'm not saying there's anything wrong about your videos, I love watching them and you and Kim together too. It's obviously me, I know.... just if you could think of giving it a try musicless, I'd really appreciate it .....

Hi Cheryl, They do so mostly acrylic and acrylic blends, but there is a small portion of 100% wool.😊
@@theYarnGeek Yes same as Michaels. You know, you mentioned one of those cakes being $12.99. At Knitty City on 79th street in nyc, they have 100% wool for that price. Not as many yards though. I got Malabrigo Rios yarn to make a scarf, 210 yd US 7-9 needles $16.50 I did buy two skeins. If I remember my mom didn’t like using acrylic yarn for sweaters, scarves or hats. But, she liked it for crocheting afghans. I only know how to knit. My Mom knitted some beautiful fisherman’s sweaters. I have to say, I liked some of the colors you showed. They do have a smaller Joanns here on Central ave. One day I’ll check it out.
