wow didnt expect the ativa interior/ comfort is better than x50 when the interior space in ativa is smaller than the myvi
Exactly, for me I tested both x50 and ativa, ativa rear seat space is just too small compare to x50

Belum beli tak percaya comparo sana sini, lepas beli Honda BR-V baru kesal. Dari luar memang cantik tapi periksa teliti selepas mula pandu baru kenalpasti isu2 seperti bunyi luar, bau eksos dalam, getah pintu nipis, bunyi getaran depan belakang dll. Kecewa dengan Honda Malaysia sebab mengikut "mereka", mereka ada buat ujian banyak!?!
I still think x50 is the good middle ground. Not that expensive, with every bell and whistle. Got the better interior imo.
I'm the X50 owner. About the fuel consumption test, I had done for 3 mode with cruise control/without cruise control, my test results:
minimum 13km/l
maximum 16km/l.

Gong Xi Fa Chai Woo and thank you for your support. We did a mixture of city and highway driving to get the most balanced km/l pricing. Worth bearing in mind also is that driving style also plays a role in fuel consumption.

Should have gotten the latest cx3 as well, older platform like the hrv but mazda has refined it so much compared to my 2017 model the 2020 model has better noise insulation, better handing and comfort even though on the outside it looks simillar. Plus the it would be interesting to compare the 2.0NA against the turbos is there really no replacement for displacement. Anyways kudos nice video !
Agreed and we did ask Mazda for the CX-3 but unfortunately, they did not have a media review unit available for this comparison video.

Good comparison video. I believe, Hyundai Kona is the underrated car. Hyundai itself is very underrated in Malaysia, not sure why though. But other than boot space, Kona beat every other B segment cars. It's built for Fun to drive and Adreline rush. It's definitely not your usual city car and its produced 198PS with 7 speed DCT is something very powerful. The feel is totally different !
Kudos for a brilliant video lads!! Another interesting factor if you could add in the future, the current price range for the cars compared. Which would be one of the biggest decision making factors of car buyers out there. 😞 that X50 didn't fare so well in the test lol.
Thank you Zaslan, we did mention the specific price of each vehicle in the video but for comparisons of this nature we generally try to group them according to segment and not necessarily price point because sometimes you just might find that despite the price, a more affordable model might score/ rank better.
Had been drive Ativa vibration harshness i think Ativa the most worst and feel exhausted after long journey..the underfloor lot of vibration during iddle, steering small frequency vibrate i can feel, start shock really can feel the engine swing unbalance due to natural imbalance 3 piston..all in all kimchi kia is the most underrated but actually good to buy..
Ativa is perodua respond to SUV fever... is literally a bandwagon...
Wait until 5years and checkup the NVH. Perodua is good short distance reliable but once u go. For Korean or conti car there's no return back ( at least in my case) .

Sy sudah selesa dgn model Korea (Kia), Sblm ni pernh test drive Kona 2.0 active mmg syok gilerrrr dari segi kepuasan pemanduan, selesa, ride& handling padu. Tiada bunyi rattling pelik2 and dalam kabin agak senyap.
Tapi yg ni model spec N-line harga x masuk akal akan tetapi engine 1.6T power teruk 198Ps 265Nm syokk ooo lenjannnn layan koner pun syok sebab tu kot Hyundai letak nama Kona..😂
X50 pun Xboleh lawan Kona cuma X50 FS menang dari segi harga and value for money.
Tobat pakai kete Korea, sparepart mahal susah pula nk dpt,mungkin kt negara lain sebaliknya..
@@safarwadio1781 spare parts senang je dapat , parts Kia share dengan HYUNDAI xde masalah pun, parts mmg la mahal sebab tiada local parts, parts semua mai dari luar bukan mcm p1 and p2 parts local yg buat mmg la harga murah xkn la xtau beza local parts and parts dari luar.

If u have taken the Activa AV the tyres I believe is the more premium Bridgestone plus if u factor in the price then Activa rating will surely go up. Agree? Note : Latest : I just checked. The Activa AV actually uses Bridgestone Turanza so it’s the same tyre as the Activa H variant.

Hmm...Perodua Ativa acctually total can put 12 can. Front can put 10 can including the cup holders (driver seat and passenger seat). But this is a great comparison video. Hope can see more video like this in the future.

Hi guys great video perfect for someone like me who js considering to get an suv. I have a question, is it safe to get proton x50? Because im really worry about the reliability of this car..problems that may occur even if i take really good care if it and as well as the spare parts..
Initially im considering honda hrv..second hand..but after my deep calculation for monthly payment its kinda bit pricey with around rm900 over for 9 years plus the roadtax itself is kinda pricey with rm289 and insurance rm3000 over..unlike proton x50 its only around rm800 over monthly with roadtax rm90 and insurance rm2000 over..
So..for financial aspect i cant sacrifice my money for honda hrv..and can only afford x50..but yea my main concern is the reliability of it..and spare part..
Appreciate the kind words Celetials. Now with regard to reliability, you nailed it - you take care of the car with periodic maintenance and it should serve you well. As for the spare parts Proton are currently working on addressing that issue but if you're buying a new car, it's not really something you should have to worry about unless of course the car gets into an accident and requires a specific part.

A drag race requires a safe and secure environment for both man and machine, that is not readily available in the Kang Valley.

Fitting in people test was not accurate and right, should do dimensions measurements settle, simple je like maths, larger dimensions measurements wins tats all.
The dimensions of the car are readily available in the spec sheet but the bigger question here is how does that translate to people? If we went by spec sheet size the Kona should have come in second in the boot space comparison as on paper it has the bigger volume.

It's a very informative video , but something is off here, because I don't feel the tests were sufficient enough to rank out these Cars. And yes to be asking one's opinion is very much questionable as one might not feel what the others felt *need to use proper gadgets. Not the slalom test tho, that needs to be conducted by a professional/well trained for sure, good job on that. So yeah, keep it up . Oh and yeah, we have Sepang circuit btw, if im not mistaken they're welcoming people. Overall, 👌

A professional Racer should took that risk to do slalom test for ATIVA and I believe the marks for slalom alone supposed to be 5 marks.
