Enjoyable and entertaining Review. A fancy carbon key! Seats nice but prefer a light coloured interior. No HUD. Excellent views forward through windscreen on driving part, and great commentary as always. Cupra's ride too tough for me on rough UK roads!
Please note that depending on the market, the Akrapovic exhaust is exclusively available for the Limited Edition so far, but it is even an option for the Limited Edition (3.750 Euro extra in Germany for example)
It used to be that you could not compare the normal brands with the premium manufacturers, but I don't think that's the case any more. Those giant groups that own both have streamlined the production process of their components and designs, to the point where the lines are very blurred.
Saw one at my dealer. It's beautiful in person! If it's anything like my Leon ST cupra, you'll be happy to get anything less than 11 L/100 21mpg. I have managed 8.5 in eco mode driving very slowly
Thomas, 2 things: 1. You should have mentioned something about the new infotainment screen which is new. Tre older one was of tacky quality and the rear camera image was really poor. How is the new screen and is the rear camera image better now? 2. There seems to be a lag when accelerating on all cupra models, even the AWD models. The car gets stuck for more than a second at around 30-40 km/h before taking off. I noticed that on this car as well. I'm suspecting that this is made on purpose to not be faster than the VW and Audi models. What do you think?
So many SUVs.... people can't get enough of them & I'll probably be buying one soon since the BMW wagon isn't coming to Canada because Americans can't get enough of those SUVs. Wow that colour reminds me of the original Audi TT. They introduced that colour a long time ago and everybody was shocked by how different it was. I loved it though. Still do. Nice review Thomas!
I really the SUVs US and Canada have.. they have some exclusive 1s from Ford like the Explorer ST and Edge ST.. if I could buy either of those for UK I would be a happy man they are amazing vehicles
Thank you for the really nice review! Owning a leon cupra 290, I love the Cupra Ateca , especially in this color. But I'm not sure of these blue seats in Alcantara, maybe they looks better in real. What you get for what you pay is more than interesting! In Switzerland, the special edition come with 350ps!

lowest I ever had with my 280 was 7.4, average over 5 years was 8.1 :)
