A seller I frequently use is beadabetter. Just search resin flat back non hot fix rhinestones. The ones you buy from the average store doesnt offer the best sparkle also it can end up being much more expensive and they are sensitive to the adhesive. Get sizes 4 & 5 mm. I personally use 2,3,4,5 mm on orders for clients but you can get away with 4&5 mm only. You will roughly need 10,000 crystals total to do full coverage on both shoes. Takes anywhere from 2 days to a week to do them. Depends on you and if you get distracted easily. Outline the shoe 1st to get a more clean look then fill in with the crystals.

If you ever do this again, they make wax pencils for picking up rhinestones and doing jobs like this. It would make your job a lot easier. Also, your subscribe button was right over your face in fullscreen. It was pretty distracting since RUclips got rid of the option to turn off annotations. Otherwise, beautiful job!

I want to do this to my Brash suede pumps only with bigger, chunky rhinestones. Only problem is I haven't seen my pumps since my last move :( Thanks so much for the video. I figured suede is a better base for gluing than faux leather. And, really, who wants suede pumps? That's the most boring texture for pumps. I only bought mine because I really wanted platform pumps and the patent black ones were always out of stock in my size.

Testors paint is NOT acrylic. It is enamel, more similar to nail polish. You can find this at a hobby/model store as it is used to paint model cars and stuff.
+Tatyana Mouzon I've done them on lace and also on a glossy surface and they both work great as long as you have the right glue! Hotfix crystals work too but they're not always as secure :)

From my experience with painting shoes, you need to let the basecoat dry before recoating.
