(Edit: to the people who can't be bothered to read beyond one sentence, try reading my comment before liking the ignorant, bitter, uneducated replies I got from others). Because you clearly don't understand that industry goes up and down.
(Edit) The British economy has dipped lower in the past than it did when Brexit happened. Brexit had an effect but certainly not to the level of making Britain a 'post-apocalyptic' wasteland where we would all be fighting for scraps 2 days after Brexit (like Remainers were claiming would happen).
Britain has had an awful industrial performance against comparisons in Europe and the world for easily the past 40 years! We have the old Eton club politicians to thank for that since their political policies have driven Britain towards financial services and not manufacturing... Killing the industrial power of the North and centralising most of the money power in London and London only. Brexit was only the cherry on top of a bad cake.

In the recent Putin interview, he said that Ukraine was ready to negotiate until one Boris Johnson arrived on the scene. Like the bullshit around Brexit, apparently, the UK clown advised Ukraine NOT to negotiate. So, Hunt, you reap what you sow.

Hunt & Co. caused the high inflation in the first place. Yes, the pandemic & the Ukraine war didn't help, but the Tories are totoally responsible for Brexit & high fuel costs (they should have made a windfall tax).

Oooh I wonder why there’s no investment. Oh yeah. We are all paying our elevated mortgage 💸 costs !!! I’ve not had any money to buy new tools since the Mortgage hike!
It’s the #CorporateGreedCrisis that is driving inflation. NOT public overspending.

British gas profits at 940% increase - blatant profiteering. Corporate greed driven inflation, whilst we suffer with a record tax burden under the tories.
These price gouging profits should be taxed to high heaven and used to alleviate the cost of living crisis
