I love this combination of sci fi and fantasy. Also, Grenan was an idiot. He recognizes the hammer as what's messing with his shields and then fails to connect it with all the system failures that prevent shields from working.
Great to hear a story dealing with the draugr! They're terrifying entities, indeed, with the strength of many men and driven by purpose (often to guard their own grave). While often described as "death-black" and foul smelling, indicating necrotic tissue, they're also described as a lot more sturdy than this one.
human animals, followed the rules for hunters? Do you not have rules against killing children and women when hunting? We humans literally have rules against killing juveniles and females of most species when WE go hunting, and you dare speak of ethics? Maybe you should have checked the rules for hunting a bit more carefully before hunting on earth. Just be glad your grandson won't be killed by us in vengeance.
Would love to have more from this timeline. I love a good Norse based story. This one was wonderful. Been listening to yall for a while now, and this is my first comment. Whoever wrote this, good on ya. Keep your ideas flowing, and always remember, stories have power.
HOW!! how are you getting there Vocally... remember this is a marathon it wont do if you dont last long. my narrator Pantheon has one that has required operations because they got to into their narrations
And that, kids, is the true story of how Loki was defeated, not by the host of Asgard, but by the animated corpse of a human, who was remade in Valhalla...into the god we know... as Thor.
Was a terrible story that wasny hfy at all. Humans only survived an arbitray list of unstatwd rules due to sucking at everything compared to every other species.
That was a good story, and well narrated, but hardly a 'HFY' story. All the Humans got slaughtered until a God imbued a corps with divine powers of invincibility. Hell the human with a hammer could have been replaced with a squirrel and a straw and the outcome would have been the same. Absolutely nothing about humanity won this battle. 2/10
A human deity from human imagination/worship rose a human up from the dead to avenge human deaths and inflict revenge upon an Alien FAR 'Superior' then them. Pretty HFY to me.

Oh he knew, he just didn't care. He was too sure of his victory.
So the Norse Pantheon is canon in this setting, cool!
as all are everthing is manisfested from human mind in warp
As both a fantasy and mythology nerd, that ending made me cry.
Same

Human: "You've killed us by the hundreds. Now, you face a real monster."
STOP
HAMMERTIME!
The Crow reboot we didn't know we needed
Or Thor's origin story, before the storytellers sanitized it.
Acurate drager. The norse version of a zombi. be full on terrified if one of those start chasing after you.
My favorite channel, my favorite story.
The Alfodr approves.
Excellent story, more like this please
Best bug control story ever!

Audio is a tiny bit quiet. Great story, though.
it's V I (vee eye), not 6. Virtual Intelligence. still good reading
He got it a few times, but I blame myself. I forgot to put the pronunciation guide on those during the writing.
MILKMAN

Zombie Thor?
Vidarr is another son of Odin. He is the god of vengeance. He avenges Odin by slaying Fenrir.
Makes a fella think 🤔.
It does.
