He is gorgeous! Ive been trying to decide between a mini poodle or a bichon and i think you might have just convinced me. I'm new to grooming and would really like my own dog to practice on and I think i would be able to praces a lot of different techniques with a Bichon

Just wondering of some tips to help a dog like brushing. My Daisy hates being brushed and hides under the couch and she isn't food orientated when it comes to the bath or brushing so I can't even bribe her 😫🐶
Hi Jodie , it can be a challenge but the best advise would be start small, just do little bits at a time, they do get used of it will really start to enjoy the process once they are used of it. I give little treats when they are being good
I use a metal comb from Artero, and i Have a few different slickers, from firm to soft depending if my dogs have knots. Sometimes i will use a firm slicker if i need to remove any dead coat. Brands i like are Artero, Grip soft, Universal slicker. I can do a little video to explain the differences.xoxo
