Ever wonder how many people have spent time re inventing a screw or the head of it. Same with drill bits, probably more drill bit types than people in canada. I enjoy going back and watching prior videos. Thanks Nick for just being this person you are
A father wrote his son asking how things were at college. He received back "No Mon, No Fun, Your Son" (obviously asking for money). To which he replied "Too Bad, So Sad, Your Dad". The son answered back "I don't get it?". The father said "Correct". ... Yes, show us fixing the former dance floor known as the hood. Car hoods have the especially hard life of being exposed to heat from the Sun, heat from the engine and all the heat from the radiator and AC condenser, they're used as shelves by people handling packages and groceries, they have minimal support and they're right out there for everyone to see, so they have to look good. ... HOW do you break a Lancaster stretcher!? hmmm... Come to think of it, I do have a friend who broke an anvil... Keep having fun Nick!
thank you for the video i spray the area with weld through primer then use a scribe to scratch a line nice clean single line ps you are one class act pps do you not have a resistance spot welder i know the door stop as a check strap
Lookin good ... The urathane windshield would match the side glass ... but if you have to use the rear seal then those two would match ... guess either way would look right ... if I had a dollar for everytime I got my glove caught in the seam I could afford to have you do my body work ... I gettin axnious ... lets get crackin ...
@@danielbuckner2167 Yup, you got it! Forgot to mention that earlier... late night last night. The original glass was shot, all fogged up and cracked, so new glass will be cut for the windshield, doors and 1/4 windows. We're into the home stretch! 😃
Yes to the hood, just leave a camera on the whole time. No private moments for you! Is it worth getting a cheap shrinker/stretcher set versus some Lancasters -for the hobbyist?
Cheap ones last about 5 minutes and can create a lot of frustration...parts are soft. If you look after a quality set they last and once you're done they hold their value for resale. This shrinker dates back to 2008ish purchased new.
May I please put my vote in relative to your witty speaking style. I get a big kick out of it and would hate to see you putting a wet blanket on your delivery for the sake of the grouches. Please relax and be who you are and I'm sure most folks will think that is just fine. Thank You for your efforts. Cheers, Glen
All repairs are interesting 🤔

Yes please on the Hood, Always a pleasure to see your work.
Done! Thanks Shaun
Nice!!!! Really good info there!!!!
Glad you liked it!!
I would definitely like to see how you get that hood worked out. This has been a very interesting build and can't wait to see how it turns out.
Sounds good, thanks for letting me know. I'll try incorporating the hood repair with metal finishing. Thanks for watching!
I tell my parts to "stay" too.
What about companies that bend glass for a clean front windshield with a bend down the middle. California Glass Bending is one.
That's a great idea David as it would really compliment the car.
Yes to the hood
Done!
Hood please Nick 👍

We do, most don't. Showing how an average joe/jane can tackle this repair on their own ride. Thanks for watching Jackie!

You and me both! Won't be long now, thanks for watching Joe!
I wonder how many stomps my harbor freight shrinker set can take in comparison before they give up.
How does that urethane work as far as window trim or is the trim eliminated by nature of that installation?
Hi Daniel, we're deleting the trim. Glass will be gapped to the surrounding area.
@@iNVisionPrototypes ahhh, ok so this requires new glass to be just a tad bigger then?

Yes on the hood repair. Or you can just leave it and tell everyone you pancaked it.
Haha! You've got me thinking now. Thanks for watching Brian!

Of course we want to see you struggle with the hood! That's a door check.
Door check, thanks!
anybody figure out why so few views to this channel
Mind boggling when compared to a lot of the other 'talent' seen on the tube...
Thank you for watching!
Great content and you’re very skilled - please give up on the jokes!
I try my best Gavin, thanks for watching. Now, I have a question for you my good man. Can you ask water not to be wet? Think about it. Cheers! N.
