I went on this last year - they appeared not to have put enough weights on me and as soon as I set off a gust of wind caught me and I spent the whole trip down at an angle to the left. I was watching the coast, not where I was going. It was ... disconcerting.
if you are heavy you will get a drag shute that you dont go to fast down the line. If there is a windgust that catches the shute it can happen that it brakes you to mutch and you end ab in a position like this man.

At least you get a nice view to enjoy! Much better than getting stuck in the dark section of a tube water slide with claustrophobia and hydrophobia.

These are the old v1 pulleys( the roller frame that touches the wire). They have been upgraded and reach a max speed of 100 mph.

I watched another one of these and it was the right hand wire that had to be rescued. If i ever go, ill take the left.

@@Kullioking did this ever happen to you?? I didn't see a drag chute pull out when he went down. And if there was, it should have shown in the video.
@@khatske The chute goes from the body of the rider to the sled, it is a triangular chute that akt's like a reversed sail.
