Before someone complains about using expansion gear at level 45:
Max level phantoms are ubiquitous at this level. There are some obvious ones in this video alone.
They have endgame and expansion gear regularly. Not only that, but they also have endgame spells, and their stats are engame as well. None of that gets scaled down, other than vigor. Their damage and innate defenses are ridiculous.
Until the overlevel phantom issue is dealt with, either by From or by hosts, we gonna use what we want. Blame the developer for the arms race we all have to do.
Also weapon matchmaking exists in this game, you can only invade hosts with the same upgrade level. And similar rune level. The phantoms are not taken into account at all for this though.
As far as the long intro im not sure why its so long this time, it is usually 2 or 3 minutes at most. I made this at like 4AM lol

i really like dual wielding Miladys its so fun and the moveset puts in work no matter what ashes of war you put on them.

These guys are the reason I can't play with some of my friends. I tell them to level vigor and try to get 150lvl as fast as possible. They say "oh its just the early game. It'll be fine." Well, when the level 45 hyper optimized dude using fully upgraded dlc wepons invades us, dont be upset when you get deleted.
Weapon upgrade matchmaking still exists. If you’re being invaded there with a fully upgraded weapon, it’s cuz u have 1.
@SunLovinSolaire i get that. The comment was more to point out that pve guys get butthurt when reds are built for doing red things. I'm fine with it because if I die to red, then I can't be invaded for a while. And it's pretty easy to get to a grace. If I'm helping a friend, I try to stay close to their level/upgrade, but I get bored and don't want to wait for them to figure out what build they want. Like, man, I've got this build done before I even started the game.

@Tarnished_Brand totally agree. That's why I tell my buddies to level vigor so they at least have a fighting chance. We'll be around level 85. I have 50 vigor, and my buddy will be at 25. Then he gets up set that he's been deleted by a guy with an optimized build. Doing low-level invades with late game setup is a bit scummy, but as we see in the video, there is also no shortage of high-level fantoms ganking, so it's a balance. Unfortunately, the only people who suffer are the casuals that aren't ready for the meta gamers.
@@daman24601 yeah it’s unfortunate most invaders tend to be kinda ehh at the game because their 3k hours is fighting pvers so when they come up against someone who knows what they’re doing they just fold
Serpent bone blade is my favorite weeb stick move set and sword of night shares that.

I played with lots of L2 spammers last night. Spammers like this weapon almost as much as backhand blades

I use this on my sneaky ninja build. Having 30 vigor at RL120 really makes you play carefully, but the burst damage is great for over condident ganks.
That’s my absolute favorite way to play these days. I have a similar low vigor RL120 build but I use Malenia’s with 99 dex and it’s an absolute blast.

How is it on the PS5/PC with the high level babysitters? On the Xbox it is unplayable as a level 40 invader. 99.9% of the time the host plays with his RL 600 babysitter who spams L2 or spells 24/7... It's no fun at all, so I actually only play with my RL 169 character.

Shield of night is a budget erdtree shield. Just needs the deflect tear to really be good. So you can be antimage without needing 30 STR.

I love my faith anti magic build more than my night ninja, but it can have its moments too. Assassin's gambit is also something that can make it shine!
0 skill required for this weapon. It makes people feel skilled when they are using it tho.

My favorite no-skill weapon is sword of damnation, get the best of both L2 stick and Claymore moveset worlds

Bro it's very nice to have these types of explanations, I like them. So I guess there there for people like me who want to see exact load out details and a brief explanation on the thought process behind it, especially low level builds as it's a delicate balancing act of vigor vs damage, you gotta allocate specifically and decide which soreseals to rock. Very nice
