Bought this item and was not disappointed, as a Law Enforcement Officer, I need lights on my vehicle that allow me to be seen night and day and these lights do just that. They are SUPER bright blue and cut right through the tint on my vehicle. The on/off/traffic control box is super easy to use and installation was a breeze, thank you for such a great product, I am def going to recommend these lights to my colleagues.

The light bar is meant to be hard wired. However, you can definitely connect the light bar to a cigarette lighter adapter and power it that way. Unit draws about 2 amps of power @ 12VDC, which will not overload the cigarette lighter receptacle. Hope this helps!
The light bar has surface mounting capability. It has a slide groove on the back and top of the light bar which you can use the included square bolt and nut to secure the unit to a surface. We mounted the light bar to aluminum flat bars ($3 at home depot), then remove the lining on the underside of the back window, and mounted the aluminum flat bar using the existing nuts and screws on the body of the car. How did you mount that against the flat glass in that F150 ? I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler (with flat rear glass), how would I mount this ? The top is fiberglass and drilling into it is NOT an option for me.

heresteven you know four way flashers just don't cut it. They're not bright enough in the day. Additional warning is a must on the side of the road. That's why if there's something I can tell where someone needs help or isn't very visible I'll pull behind with my ambers flashing so it's a bit more visible

i have a question. i just thought about it but me and my stepdad had a wreck infront of us on the highway, a kid drove off the road and almost flipped but anyhow. he has lights on his truck but its a work truck. would i be able to put this on my regular car legally just incase something like that were to happen again even though its not construction or anything. i understand that i couldnt just be going around the road with them on. i live in indiana by the way.
