I'm happy to see another Jamaican posting about their process as I'm presently awaiting my approval from USCIS. Was your process based on you being a citizen or a LPR? How soon after submission did you get a status change of "actively being reviewed"?
@makeishablake1694 I filed being a citizen. About 8 months into the uscis process, I saw the "actively being reviewed" didn't get approved until 11 months. A month before I got approved, they had "case is taking longer than expected"
@@msalleshak9100 Thank you. Did you complete the I130 on your own or you had assistance? And did you leave the fields blank that were not applicable to you? Or you put N/A throughout the document?
@makeishablake1694 I completed the form on my own. The entire process, I did everything. I left the spaces blank that didn't apply to us. You can put NA as well if you feel more comfortable doing that.
@@msalleshak9100we did in fact submit the form with them blank, however, I was seeing other comments about applications being rejected due to areas being left blank so I wanted to confirm
I have a few questions. What questions were asked in the interview? Can you elaborate on what happened at the Medical appointment what do they make you do? Who's passport photos do you have to bring? Its alot of question I know 😅. You are a God send. I started my I130 process 1 year ago this month for my husband to come to USA.
@CCR231 I'm going to have my husband record a video and talk about his medical experience and what happened and also his experience at the interview. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them.

@PetagayeHall He already took the vaccine in 2021. He had to do a covid booster before his medical. I'm not sure if they're still doing that.
