I attended a demo back when I was in high-school, our local pro shop did one and let a number of amateurs and high school/college players around come as well, it was a super fun experience and I’d definitely recommend going if you get the chance to go, it’s a lot of fun and I learned a lot when I was there 💯
I wish they did these kind of things where i live. I have been bowling for almost 30 years and I think there has been 1 within about 500 miles of me a few years back. I would definitely buy another ball if I could try it out first
I'd like to talk u about my dad invention It could help a lot of bowlers. I was raised in a bowling alley. I don't know if you new my dad. The older bowlers new him as Ace . Weldon Girard was form Texas
I really wish I could demo a ball before buying. I ended up buying 16 pound but I think it's too heavy. I might have been fine with 15 or 14. but the proshop dude said I should have 16 it's weird.
I’m new to finger tip reactive balls why does the thumb hole seem so large when compared to a normally drilled ball. My local pro shop drilled my first finger tip ball and the thumb hole seems to be the normal fit?
The thumb hole should be slightly big to allow for swelling. Just enough to use 2 pieces of tape. Any larger than that and you will have to squeeze it to hold onto it. You should not have to sqeeze the ball to hold onto it.
@@Ctdbowling I'm also a straight bowler who has the Rhino and I recommend that very much. If you're a decent sized male I would definitely recommend getting the 16 pound ball if you bowl straight.
Does every single pro shop do a demo day? or is it something companies have to bring to you or? i'm not sure i'm in my bowling alley every few days and I just don't know lol
Was it me or were all the balls drilled the same? Pin over middle of the fingers and CG directly under it, in the middle of your hand? Why would they do this?
Ronald Hickland Jr thank you, I figured they would be drilled to show off it’s shot shape. Does this demo drilling still allow the ball to roll as intended?
The only bad thing is basically you are thronging balls that have up to a 100 games on them. So you are not getting a true seance of what the will ball reaction the ball out of the box and the cg maybe way off to the way you bowl.
And you're trying out balls that are pre-drilled so the finger holes don't fit exactly to your specifis hand. I wouldn't ever buy a pre-drilled ball. I would rather take the risk of not being able to try out my new ball than have the holes not fit perfectly.
My brother has the new hustle balls and I’m getting the tropical surge they both look great I’m even getting the one he showed in the vid ( the purple ish one) nice vid btw!
I'm thinking of purchasing a hammer urethane bowling ball mainly for spares but also as a strike ball as well should I get the purple urethane or the bw urethane also do u have to be a pro shop person to go to one of these events
Yo if you bowl at Steve cooks you should come to a nor cal tournament in Sacramento and watch everyone there I’ll look for you and I want you to see what is happening and what I’m doing wrong I’m a 2 handed bowler btw
The numbers represent the sequence of the grit level of abrasives used to finish the ball. There are as many as was used to prepare the surface. If you sand a ball 500 grit and then go to a 4000 grit pad, the surface will be more aggressive than if you used the full sequence, step by step, as in 500 grit, 1000 grit, 2000 grit, 4000 grit, as an example. Also there are different compounds and polishes used by different companies. All compounds or polishes are applied over a base grit level or sequence of grits. Examples: 1. 500 grit, 1000 grit, 2000 grit, then polish. 2. 500 grit, then polish. 3. 500 grit, 1000 grit, 2000 grit, 4000 grit, polish.
Bro you need to slow down a bit I’m not at a auction I’m watching a video. And to be honest I was getting car sick the way you were moving the camera around . And yes I see that this is a older video and I hope you have improved incense then. But thanks for the video.
Bowling is a joke now. All technology. They didn’t keep equipment in check like for example...golf...the USGA regulates equipment. Bowling? Well clearly they encourage equipment that makes everyone think they are pros. It’s all about the balls now. They are the stars of bowling.

Fascinating info on the C.O.R. as I didn't know that & I just had my Volt drilled Friday! Happy to hear it's so solid, so, thanx for this video!

it's nice to get a first-hand look of all these new products and new bowling balls that are coming out.
EBI demo day coming to my house soon... hope Hammer brings all the ones you showed!
Hammer is awesome

Love the roto grip line. I bowl with a roto grip and it's a awesome ball. The reaction is priceless!!!!!
Todd Lowe hey I’ve never thrown roto grip; what sets them apart? I’m considering the Halo Pearl.. have you thrown the HP ?
Bill Burcell I have thrown the ufo and it’s a nice smooth but sharp reaction hardest hitter in the market
@@billburcell8704 to me its that really sharp cut at the bottom of the lane. The sharp cut is smooth and consistent.
My local house. Too bad I couldn't come meet you Ron. I'm working today. Wanting to come represent CtD with you.
looks like heaven
That new statement looks amazing! Event looks great
The seating area there is in need of a MAJOR renovation
stormb28 who cares? As long as the lanes don’t cut up your balls, that’s all that matters lol.
Holy didn’t realize until I actually looked lol boi was born in the 1800
It's been changed.
Thanks the video. Pretty cool stuff.
Too bad our pro shop doesn't have a demo contract, they don't have demos at our center
That house needs a renovation!!!
Definitely the seats
How good is the radical zing solid?

Imagine collecting guitars and bowling balls. Lol
I'd have a hard time not spending my retirement cash if I had access to a demo like this. Haha.

Can you review the Choice Solid?
I'll see what I can do at the next Demo tomorrow.

Those thumb holes are drilled so large to accommodate interchangeable thumb slug's
How am I able to go to one of these demos?
Your pro shop can set one up
Was this in Sacramento California??
How can you get them free during the demo
I am in the market to purchase a ball. I am a straight bowler, nothing fancy. What ball would you recommend for someone like myself?
I would start with a Brunswick Twist or Rhino. Both are good Options
Cool, thanks. I will check them out.

Man how in the world do you pick the right ball to buy and use!
Using a qualified pro shop who watches you bowl is the best way to do it.

No, it can be set up by the pro shop though
Ronald Hickland Jr sweet thanks

Neutral drilling to accommodate left and right hand bowlers I'd assume
