The idea that you need volumising hair powder on hair that thick is just ridiculous. It's a product for really fine and/or thin hair. Why use it if you don't need it? Unless of course you're being paid to get guys to buy crap they don't need.
Well first of all I'm definitely NOT getting paid by anybody for these videos right now LOL.. The way that a product is marketed often times isn't its only PRACTICAL function in hair; In my case, it does exactly what I need it to do which is provide lift and structure towards my roots. I knew I wasn't going to be using any HIGH hold products, so I needed to create that structure somewhere and through my experience with this product on all different hair types, I knew that it would serve that exact purpose in my hair. That ain't even just a thing I do... it happens quite frequently in the industry. That's kind of a big thing I'm tryna do with this channel. Most people would just assume a product/technique would or wouldn't be useful based on how it's marketed by the guy trying to sell it. There are infinite creative ways to use products/techniques that a lot of people would never consider. I'm not a wizard or anything, I've just worked with hair professionally for the past half decade and do not yet have any contractual obligations tying me down to marketing a product in any certain way. But regardless, I'm sorry. Apology video coming soon
it's actually illegal to promote a product without disclosing they've sponsored you, so no one would risk that. he gives genuine hair advice, his vids have helped me a lot
WHAT’S FASCINATING ABOUT HIM IS HE’S OPEN TO POSSIBILITIES AND EXPERIMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF HIS VIEWERS. AND WHY DO YOU LIMIT YOURSELF TO PRODUCTS PERCEIVE TO BE INTENDED TO A CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL. HE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE NATURE AND SCIENCE OF HAIR. LIKE GRAVITY FROM WHICH THE CULPRIT OF FLAT LIFELESS HAIR..
I've been growing out my sides from an undercut for a couple months and they were getting puffer and puffier. This weekend I got a round brush and it's such a game changer! Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for this tutorial. I have a similar hair length and coarse curly texture and I had no clue what do do to my hair to make it not frizzy. It came out great :)
I started using one touch blowout and volumizer.. just great results. I grew my hair longer during covid and had been really struggling to keep them in a good style.
Wow we have a super similar hair style!! I’ve been using a flat iron this whole time to get this. A round brush is bound to be much easier and safer for my fingers and scalp lol
I have the same coarse frizzy thick wavy hair as you do Before I've started watching your videos I hate my hair But now I'm loving it. Thank you for acknowledging me about hair
I use hair powder and I have really thick hair. It helps me keep volume, control, and great texture. It's not just for thin hair, it's just marketed more to that because it's one of the only things out there that can give thin hair volume and grit
My hair type is super fine so always seems a bit flat. When I've used one of these brushes, it was normally the opposite direction so my hair sits over my ears. I'll definitely try something similar to what you've done to see what kind of volume I could get
Your hair is so thick and luxurious, do you use any specific products that give your hair a thicker, shinier, longer look? Like shampoos, conditoners, sprays, products, etc. Would love to know. 👍
I’ll do a video on the specifics of my routine at some point, but EVERYTHING that goes in my hair is from a reputable, salon quality product line 💯 genetics is the #1 factor which you can’t control but you CAN avoid unecessary damage by staying away from low quality stuff 👍🏼
hey Jesse, how do you do the back of your hair? I have the same hair type and length as yours and I followed this video but I still don't know how to blow dry the back of my hair
LOOL for the videos I definitely don’t pay as much attention to it as I normally would, but it’s very much the same concepts, just kinda awkward arm angles and is a hassle. 😂😂
Bro how you care your hair... actually I tried to do same like you but my hair started fallen and it get thin ..... please give me some tips......plz reply
Do people sometimes have natural smooth hair that is still curly/wavy. Or is most people's hair that is curly tend to be more coarse. Cause I wonder how you can achieve blown out smooth hair while still have really curly and wavy ends. Like someone like John b or chase stokes from outer banks has smooth hair but it's still curly and doesn't have split or rough up ends.
Ur hair just kinda screams Joe keery but I think I have a similar style of hair it's just to heavy to even put product In I would have to use a whole handful
100% genetics. You just cant move your hair and hold it into place if you hair is different type than he has in the video. I ve been trying for 1 year to make my hair not flat, been to 3-5 different hairdressers, they can't move hair and lock it in, no chance. The best thing i can achieve is John Wick's hair, by making it long slick back + shiny.
Thats to much work everyday, its so much easier to have short hair, and with that long hair you have to wash hair daily because of the se products and it will take years to blowdry hair

Actually if you knew how gravity worked, you’d know thick hair can get heavy and look flat from being weighed down.

You’ve got the thickest hair density, the thickestest I should say 🤯👏🏼
With shaping it, I've used a hair straightener. Satnique is a brand I've used for volume.
