Frankly, I'm a bit surprised he didn't go for the higher-tier Cardo. The mesh networking is so much better to talk with friends than using bluetooth to connect to your phone, to connect over wireless. There are whole sections of countryside where you'll struggle to get a decent internet connection, and even when you have it, the latency and audio quality is markedly worse than using cardo's mesh network.
If we're talking about pinlocks being essential, I guess I'll add a Scottoiler to that list... Not having to worry about lubing your chain constantly, and actually having the chain last WAY longer because of consistent lubrication... I don't know what I'd do without it

A tech tip for people having issues with their inkjet printers: Setup a monthly windows task to print a test sheet so that there's always something being printed to keep the ink flowing. Ever since I setup that task a year ago I haven't had issues with printing the 2-3 times a year I use my printer

Fellow motorcyclist here. The covered brake fluid reservoir is to protect the plastic from UV radiation which will break down the plastic and cause the reservoir to leak. I've had to replace a few reservoirs because of this, before I started covering mine up.
@@mushutak it's not a 100% air tight, that's why you supposed to take meassure of water content every year. There are tools you just dip into a fluid and it shows how much water it has
@@fila1445 Some moisture can get in the fluid. The lid is even supposed to let in a little air, that's why you top it up. But the fluid shouldn't spill even if you drop the bike. Also lean angle couldn't cause it to spill because of centrifugal force.
I have owed an sv650s and can confirm that there are more comfortable forms of torture if you are over 5'8. Also not the fastest but the handle really well.
im 5"11 and my r1 is about 1000 times worse than my sv650 was and ive rode 250 miles in 1 day on my r1 with 5 miles of walking inbetween. This cant be worse
As a 6' bloke I agree. Wouldn't trade it for the world though, even though my wiring harness is failing and I'm pretty sure a piston ring in the rear cylinder has gone.

Carefull with the Cardo volume, it can get stupid loud. Highly recommend wearing earplugs to combat wind noise and putting the cardo up to still hear your music perfectly without losing your hearing.

For anyone who wants to apply stickers to your motorcycle wheels: Just use brake cleaner for your Wheels, just dont get it on the chain, but it is perfect to get rid of any dirt, oil, brake dust etc and your decals will stick forever.

18:40 the double sided Velcro pieces are spacers, for if you want to bring the speakers closer to your ears :) motorcycles are actually very loud, so i ride with earplugs in. having the speakers a little closer makes them easier to hear

As someone who has put on wheel stickers on wheels before but no longer does since we're not in 2012 anymore - I can say that this is much easier if you take off the wheels, clean them thoroughly and do one wheel at a time.
I don't know anything about motorbikes and I thought they should take the wheels off but maybe there's something technical I'm missing. Nice to find out I wasn't missing anything.

Just want to say: I love episodes like this. I’ve watched the channel since 2016 and I never PC game. I barely even do computer shit. I just find tech in the world we live in interesting as a musician and artist, and content like this is so rewarding. I’m sure many people here are PC gamers… but not all of us are PC gamers

7:08 Racers put the 'sock' over the brake fluid reservoir to help keep it from vibrating loose during a race, and if it does come slightly loose than the sock helps absorbs the fluid so that it doesn't splash on the controls, visor & etc. and you can continue the race. Then everybody just thought it looked cool so they copied it.
a tip for the chin mount is to add another mount bracket. the one that looks like an 8 from the side. it extends the camera out and gives it a pivot point to aim the camera straight over your windshield.
I was on holiday in Canada this may and I was suprised to see in the 5 second shot of the bike ride , I drove in 2 of the 4 places. I was so close to the LTT lore! Im from European mainlands.

I love the relationship between the LTT staff, they all just seems like friends rather than colleagues, which is very good. Maybe it's for the camera, but it still looks very genuine.

7:08 Racers put the 'sock' over the brake fluid reservoir to help keep it from vibrating loose during a race, and if it does come slightly loose than the sock helps absorbs the fluid so that it doesn't splash on the controls, visor & etc. and you can continue the race. Then everybody just thought it looked cool so they copied it.

a tip for the chin mount is to add another mount bracket. the one that looks like an 8 from the side. it extends the camera out and gives it a pivot point to aim the camera straight over your windshield.

I was on holiday in Canada this may and I was suprised to see in the 5 second shot of the bike ride , I drove in 2 of the 4 places. I was so close to the LTT lore! Im from European mainlands.
