100% on point. We don't do enough to help the ummah. It's not just about feeding people it's about enabling people. We should be striving to be at the forefront in every institution. Our kids should be politicians, presidents, lawyers, heads of educations. I would love to see muslim universities in the west. We need to leave the old mindset behind

He is right. We are reactionary and that only to the surface level because we tended to vote on a package. All my life (last 20 years) western elections have been “vote for the lesser of two evils” or “vote for the devil you know”. Also the winner that to take the knee before Murfoch and the like. We never really took aim after the assumption that siding with them means electoral victory because they took it for granted because they are the funders of elections, they (a few ) own popular news media outlets (although the internet weakened their stranglehold). But one thing that is in Palestinian favour is public support, if they lose it this time it might not make the conversation for another decade or longer. Public support is the only thing that moves the dial.
