if your boxster had the gt2 front bumper and a more rounded duckbill spoiler (and the wheels I currently have), it would be the exact build that I want to do on mine. great work, very inspiring.
Changed the 3 belt pulleys last weekend. Took for a drive on Friday.... Nice and smooth..... then bad. The new tensioner pulley at fault will need another one
Sold my Cayman (987.1) and looking for an older Boxster (986). Been checking out Boxster videos. I do like the GT3 bumper covers on the 986! I would definitely attach the bottom of the bumper to the car. I see lots of tuner cars with aftermarket bumpers on the frwy and they seem to wobble and shake at those speeds. A simple "metal bar" a couple inches long with holes on either side and one bolt going up to the frame and the other side of the bar. would have the bolt going down to attach to the bumper. This bar could even have slots to "adjust" in and out of the bumper corners. This would also keep any possibility of unwanted wobble out of the bumper cover at speed. I like your 986.
How have the taillights held up? I seen people complain that the LED fails pretty quickly, just wondering your experience? AWESOME looking car, hoping to get my Boxster looking half as good as yours :)
@@HelpMeDIY thanks so much for the reply - thinking of going with the same bumper on my 986 S as well. I’m curious as to why you painted the bumper though when the rest of the car is wrapped? Or am I mistaken?
@@xxGHPlayaxx because the guy that was helping me wrap it said that the wrap on the front bumper wouldn’t stick with the peeling paint, So he just went ahead and color matched to the rap and painted the bumpers at the same time
The GT3 rear bumper looks really good !
+Warren Lucier I love it! 🍻

+Sean Bill thanks!
Looks great! Was this less of a hassle to install than the front bumper? Also, is that painted, or wrapped?
+Robert Catalano much easier than the front! Painted
