Big thank you. Saved me £ hundreds in garage fees replacing my daughter's wing mirror. Everything as per your video. I replaced the pop rivets with a smaller size as the Citroen ones are massive, which has worked. Thanks again Mr Burke.
I found your video because I wanted to apply an extra piece of rubber around the mirror, since there is a problem with rust below the mirrors on the DS3.
The door needed a dent repaired on the lower side, but while I was at the dent I decided to remove the corrosion, x4 heavy coats of primer before the door was repainted. The seal around the wing mirror was not changed.
King Tony 425513M socket should work. I didn't find anything cheaper and with acceptable quality. For once a life time job also something called tubular wrench may works. Thanks for video it's saved me a lot of time.
Hi there, citroen ds3 and cant fold side mirrors in,do you know if they are ment to do it automatically when lock car, tried manually and they wont budge
Finally a great video of someone who knows what he is doing and perfectly explained! Thanks for posting

Thanks for the lovely comment Jim, great to hear 🙏🙏👍👍
Good video. To tighten the wing mirror screw I used a 13mm half inch drive socket forced onto a piece of 15mm copper pipe. Did the trick.
Once again you don’t disappoint thanks very much for sharing this Ger 👍
Thank you :)
Oh! Thank you so much for this, i have to change the mirror for a DS 5 and this is the only video on internet about mirror of a DS. Thank you again!
Great video mate, just used it to change one myself after someone hit the old one and drove off, went like clockwork thanks

Very useful. Thank you.
Good video however, I was hoping it would show how to remove the chrome rubbing strakes on the outside. Do you have any tips on that please, Gerard?
