    Thanks for revealing this secrets helping us overcome our doubts. I have Question though: Is it advisable to buy Fortigate Firewall which has an end of life and no more supported for Labs Practicing? Thansk Guy.

      You're welcome.
      Yes, for lab purposes, you can even buy a device that has reached the EOL. But it is better to get some recent models so you can at least in the 7.x for firmware

    but wait, some of the features that you don't have enable you can still configure them manually? or am I wrong? I seriously would like to buy either a watchguard or a cisco asa but I don't wanna spend money to lose it, I really need help on this, for home use, you don't need a license? and let's say I have one, would it give me even more protection into my network? a lot more or not so significant? thx u in advance

    • @KBTrainings
      @KBTrainings  2 года назад +2

      For my home network, I didn't need a license as much. Because some of the features that need the FortiGuard can be manually managed (web filtering...). I am the only user in my network, not many rules applied to me.
      I think for a business environnement, a license is necessary.
