"One appendix to bind them all." I'll never look at books the same. I like that the supplements for the game are as well thought out and crafted as the core book. Producing quality instead of quantity. Revisiting the Peter Jackson movies I can easily label the various parts of them with the phases of The One Ring system. Like those traveling montages with the epic scores. With the newest supplement out in looking forward to diving in and getting lost in the world of Tolkien.
Thanks for the overview, I just got my core book and I’m really excited to dig into it! What is the mechanic/aspect of this new edition that you are most excited about?
Hola Mani. Do you think objectively that Free League's version is better to Cubicle Seven's ? I've got C7's hardback & i'm curious as to the major differences.
The only thing i cant get my head around (coming from a D&D background) is that the Lore Master doesnt set the target score like in D&D its already in front of the character. Surely that takes away the power from the DM etc?

DM modifies the tools players have to reach that target based on difficulty etc.
Power ? If you see it as a power struggle between the DM and the Players then you shouldn't be DMing 🙄🙄🙄
What a nonsense, it is a power struggle often enough!
