Enough bezel kit removals can not only damage the mechanics of the original bezel, it can also strip the original bezels paint. The longer the bezel kit adheres to the original bezel, the more complicated/difficult the removal becomes. Using heat to attempt to loosen the adhesive is also of issue as electronics do not take kindly to extreme heat, not only the device but the battery itself. My advice would be to use caution and patience when removing bezel kit, slow as possible and refrain from heat. Floss is an excellent option to assist with removal and highly recommended. This video gives a very good example
That's what I was afraid of,I know heat and electronics don't go but I knew once I try to take it off it's going to take some of the pain off smh might as well leave mine on permanently
I finally tried this and it went well thanks to your video. One thing for people to keep in mind is that the space between the Ringke cover and the bezel is very thin and it's an easy mistake (at least for me it was) to get the floss under the bezel thinking that it's under the cover. You just have to look real closely too see the fine line between the two. Also, unwaxed floss is probably better as it won't leave a residue.
This was a great tip. I ordered the Galaxy Watch 3 & I'm trading in my original Galaxy Watch, which I put a rhinestone bezel on. It took about 2 minutes using the floss to remove the rhinestone bezel, which I had on for 5 months & clean the small smeck of glue with Windex. Looks perfect. Thank you 😊
Thanks for this! I still wear my old Samsung 46mm, custom bezel has been on this for almost 4 years now...time for a change I think. That adhesive has been impressive all these years...floss, no problem, glad I don't need some heat gun for this. Thanks for the video again, Happy New Year!
I like the stock bezel better than both. Love your videos though, been binging on them since I bought my Galaxy Watch two weeks ago. Bought two Barton bands thanks to you and I'm not done yet!
Thank you so much for the video! Love my watch and now I've gotten to love this Stainless band. But I have the Ringke black bezel. Ordered the SS bezel to match the band. You've put my mind at ease. Thanks for that! -B
Wow, I'm not to sure if I want to try removing mine after watching you do it. Looks like one little slip and the original bezel might come off too. Maybe rubbing alcohol to soften the adhesive?
I ordered a bunch of bezel cover from China because they are only a little over $2 each. I haven't gotten them yet but I thought of perhaps removing only small portions of the plastic that covers the adhesive since I don't expose my watch to water. That would make it much easier to remove and also allow it to be reusable as you could just remove a little more of the plastic to reveal more adhesive. Also, it would be nice if you could buy some cheap Chinese bezels that look like the covers since the bezel is not that hard to remove.
Ringke should have made a little indentation on the bottom in case you want to remove it, it would be beneficial for them also, so they can sell more. Failure in design.
I went for the silver/metal look with black numbers. Looks very close to a Rolex Submariner if you put the right watch face on it. There i went for the blue version. Silver and blue just kills it.
@@TheJabberTech i used it but it came off again...then i used fevibond( rubber based adhesive ) it doesn't fall now, but i am little worried about the residues it will leave
Will this not damage the bezel in any way? And I also noticed with the ringke bezel fitted on there's slight play movement in the physical bezel, is that normal?
Shoot I peeled my right off and the adhesive still was reusable and hey all the bezels are dope. Plus hit up the dollar store for some adhesive and dont toss the old ones out. Well not unless u bent them, then bye bye. But if u messed up the placement and need to align it over. It's most definitely possible. And try the inner bezel shit looks dope with that as well.
Floss does not work on most bezels. The butyl adhesive strips these days are so thin that the floss cant get under the bezel. You will need a heat gun unless you can find older model bezels. Not even spudgers can get under it without heat.
I wonder if a little hair dryer heat might make that easier. I have a bezel with the Ringke that's never coming off, since I scratched the stock bezel. If I swap it out, I got spare stock bezels to swap out.

Awesome dude!!! Thanks for your support and keep customizing!!
You've saved my life mate. Bought the parts on eBay for 7 quid. Your vid made it super easy to put it back together.
Cheers mate👍
Glad to help brother

Greetings. Thanks for the helpful video. Instead of dental floss, I used a thin guitar pick, it worked perfect. 😉
Great tip, thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼...btw, what's the name of the watch face you have in the viedo?
Almost 3 years later,no idea bruh 😂
@@TheJabberTech 🤣🤣, true, no problem, thank you anyways! 🤣🤣🤣
did you check the description? I usually put it there
@@TheJabberTech i think i did, but let me double check
@@TheJabberTech you were right, it's there 🤦🏻♂️i think it's time to get me some glasses 🤣..thanks for the reply

U could use a hair dryer to warm up the glue, that would make it easier
I used a blow dryer and and my liscence. Was much easier that way.
Don't discard the old bezel cover. You can use Elmer's Rubber Cement to reattach later. Rubber Cement adheres well but is also removable.
Good to know! Thnx
Both are nice 👌

Love the first one you had on not a huge fan of the yellow, but thanks for instructions, Cheers 😉💯🇦🇺
Thanks this helped a lot.

Thanks for the video. My kit arrives tomorrow. I have a silver one. Apologies but I don't like the yellow. Each to their own though eh? Many thanks.
Thx for this video is so amazing for me
Awesome 👍🏻
Awesome video as always my friend awesome
Appreciate it dude

Is it worth putting on? I just ordered one but I don't want to damage my device if I want to take it off
can you tell me what adhesive should we use to attach the old bezel ring
try double sided tape
@@TheJabberTech i used it but it came off again...then i used fevibond( rubber based adhesive ) it doesn't fall now, but i am little worried about the residues it will leave
Can u do this to the samsung watch 6
Yes
Looks great! Thanks for posting
Where do you purchase the adhesive strip only?
Check home depot or your local craft store
Where can I find some replacement adhesive tape for the bezel
Probably local hardware store
Great info.....what I would really like to know is what watch face is that?
I clicked the link in your description however that takes me to the Solo Panamera watch face which is not the watch face in the bezel removal video
Good catch! I fixed the link. It's called VT slash
Jabber Tech many thanks!!!!
What's the watch face 👀 can i get the link plzz
Check video description 👍
@@TheJabberTech It says Page not found when the link is opened...
Guess it's no longer available. Sorry bud

Watch the video, I show what the bezel looks like after removal. The OEM bezel has slight movement to begin with, at least on mine
Off-topic, but does anyone know the name of this watch face by any chance?
Nice choice, I have the black/yellow steel on mine 😎👍
Thanks!! 😀
Where did you get that watch face from? Can you tell me the name of it. Thanks in advance.
Check video description
I like the yellow to might get one when i get tired of the silver one?
I like the yellow too!
Hi jaber tech, your video look really great, that useful, can you told me what is your watch face name? thank you!
Appreciate it ‼️ check video description
@@TheJabberTech Thank you
Nice!
If you take the box apart, there's a new sticker under where the bezel sat in the box.
There weren't any extra stickers in my units ..maybe they include them now
Thanks
How can I do to re-apply the bezel? Is there any kit?
Get some double sided tape
That's what I looking for. Big Thanks man. 😊
Awesome 👍
How will I know of the 46mm watch will fit
*if
You buy the one for the 46mm :)

What kind of adhesive should I buy to reuse the ring?
Double sided tape
Plz make a vid on how to reuse the bezel?
Get some double sided tape and put it back on
@@TheJabberTech sure but wouldn't double side tape make it thicker?
Yes, that's why it's a one time use only but you can adhere it again if u really want to, just won't be as nice
Mine came with a spare adhesive ring, assuming it's there if you want to reuse.
I have silver and for me that is beautiful, but on that two, first not yellow!
Mine doesn't come off :(
Interesting🤔
Dude what is that watch face called?? I want it bad please respond

Worked for me as shown in the video 👀
@@TheJabberTech Didn't work for me now mine is on for life. And I already traded this in for the watch 4. Now what?
Watch face no longer available 😔
Watch name please? The link does not work anymore
The name is right there in the title, Samsung Galaxy Watch.
I wonder if a little hair dryer heat might make that easier.

A little heat will def help soften the adhesive strip but not really necessary
Water finish
Or alcohol
The actual bezel has ruined up
Думал что его пальцы быстрее разъеденятся с суставами, чем накладка на безель...
Watch face ?

def do not like that yellow
change the straps.
