I have always celebrated all kinds of love on Valentine's Day because it is so powerful it shouldn't just be about romantic love alone. This day has recently taken on new meaning for me as well. Two years ago on Valentine's Day I found out we were expecting our first child. Sadly our son passed away as an infant but I continually celebrate and share the love I have for him. Lovely, relaxing video. I love the discussion of different kinds of love. I believe the 2nd Greek word is pronounced "ah-GAH-pay." I grew up in a kind of new-agey/hippy-dippy-ish tourist town with a lot of holistic health/new-agey stores around. One of them was called Agape and I believe that's how they pronounced it. If you needed some incense, crystals, sage, an Enya CD... you'd go to Agape to find what you need, chillax and maybe buy some pot from the guy who sold it in the back. ;) ...Oh, and carino... I always assumed that to mean "my dear one," like someone who is dear to me, someone you care for.
That is correct, I forgot to mention that carino also means my dear one. I like your name by the way 😊

I know only bout eros, which is not a sexual love, my teacher told me that it means platonic love since eros is the son of poros and penia which mean poverty and intelligence and so eros is poor, he misses something and since he is son of intelligence he knows that and goes looking for that thing he misses. What he misses is LOVE, the platonic one.
Btw i get your struggle for the word cariño because here in Italy we say "ti voglio bene" that is not translatable in any language i know apart from spanish yo tengo cariño but I'm not sure cause it means i love you but you say it to your friends and family and I'm not really sure if i can say that it means something like "i wish you good things" like i wish you have good things and that's why i love you
