Finally for us here in Arizona, all i can say bout Air Conditioning is.. its about dam time we've already hit 120degrees no joke & thats b4 july even hit so im going to get myself on a list b4 it gets too long of a wait cuz an a/c cab will sell sell sell here
This system in a general.... that would be so awesome.
Finally a machine that is ready for 4 seasons... It would be good to see testing that establishes the limitations of what the snow plowing capabilities are. As mentioned by others the price factor can be a hurdle for some interested buyers.
Would love to see an HVAC kit that can be an add on to any Ranger or General 1000.
Heat yes, AC not available aftermarket.
Chris Alexandre heat is fine...putting ac on a small 1 liter motor will simply kill it as far as fuel consumption & power goes.
Can you review more Polaris highlifter models those would be pretty cool to see
A year after I first watched this video. I'm hoping that the whole lineup will get this sooner than later, I'm getting older every day.
The only think i hace about new ranger is that stock tires only have a 4 ply rating 😒
Yea, ac is neat, but I'm betting that you'll rarely see these on the trail for rec riding. Maybe the moose & bighorn sheep hunters will be interested. The vast majority will be sold to ranchers, law enforcement, contractors & the like. Cost will be prohibitive too. For the price of a norstar, a decent older yj with factory air can easily be found.
Kubota has had HVAC in their RTVs for years
thanks for sharing =3
I remember when my cousin had the prototype
Ya! But what's it cost?
How does it perform after days of off-roading and working. Does it have issues of overheating when condenser gets plugged up? Let's be honest a ranger is never as clean as this video shows. They get up work on the farm daily or 3 weeks of total abuse for deer camp. Just curious longevity of these features.
Allen Wendling I was thinking the same thing. I'm wondering if the condenser is not in the typical location by the radiator. Maybe behind the cab with an independant fan.
Buy a Kubota RTV.....they are slow but Lightyears ahead of polaris. Believe me I own one.
Atvsrawsome kubotas are fine on the farm or jobsite. On the trail they are worthless turds. Might as well drive a bx25 on the trail.
just noticed the entire dash is black.
ist hat new? or do the non northstars have colored lower dash's like the older 900s?
HVAC Diesel!!!
Can i take this to Walmart?
So nice! Can I get the extra cab, leather interior, carpeting and navigation package too? Lol
Hey guys, whatever happened to the Ranger recovery rig that you built? Didn't really see much of it after the build and I was just wondering how it did?
I know its DirtTrax, but why arent there any sea-doo reviews?
Pravda
How is the AC Compressor driven? Perhaps this AC is totally different.
wayne owen more than likely its electric. No belts on the motor to spin the compressor
Justin Howell more than likely completely electric. That's putting a big strain on the stator though, especially once you factor in running the blower motor in the cab. Guess it could be crankshaft driven if they changed the case opposite the pto side of the motor. That's how guys are putting actual alternaters or superchargers on the three cyl in the yamaha yxz's.
Anyone notice the skidoo jet ski in the background that was being pulled?? Made by BRP which makes Can-Am which is Polaris's rival in the ATV/UTV industry.😂lol
Cole Miller are you sure about that, because it said Kawasaki on the side
Haha
Does the A/C pull the power down bad ?
Adam Newman 8
"slamshift"? can you throw in reverse when going forward?
You could a few times, but after that you'll probably need a new transmission.
And what's the use of having all that power if it's gonna break
I'll take one please !!!

I appreciate your reviews, but you guys really need to quite making things sound better then they are.
The Polaris Ranger does not have 80 plus horsepower it's 80 no need to exaggerate the truth. Although now the 2018's have 82 hp but it's just barely over 80 and with an increased in weight of over 200 pounds it probably is actually slower then the 80 horse 2017 model.

1) DT are and have always been polaris fanboys and look to praise polaris at every chance they see. (Idk, perhaps they receive a big fat from polaris every month).
2) who really cares if the current ranger is slower than previous models ? Guys who buy rangers are the type who are happy cruising at < 25 mph all day. Guys who want to go fast don't even consider the ranger or general platform...they go right for the rzr or X3.
Ya I don't need AC when I am wheeling. I could see for ranching or something.
does the Ranger 1000 HVAC have the cruise control also?
doubt it
what can i say i love quads lmao

Team français en force 💪
Rather buy the Ranger 900 XP for 12,299
Nice side by side, just way to expensive
30.000 bucks plus not going to happen
You don't even need a heater the engine runs hot anyway
Except they are actually under the bed now, so no heat into the cab area like the older machines.
PLEASE CONTACT ME. I WANT TO BUY THIS CAR.
If you are a recreational rider and really want A/C than you most likely are the very same person who would drive a 4x4 ATV with a Motorcycle weekend T-shirt and Khakis shorts with a net floppy hat
Who cares? What makes you so much better? In a few years everyone will be on the trails with AC. You will be sweating like a pig breathing in dust and getting covered in bugs.
Still behind can-am in value. Polaris is still using shitty caged shitty seats a lot of shitty things! Can-am is optimizing everything and making it better!
Fuck that just get a half ton pickup
ENOUGH ABOUT ITS HVAC I WANT TO ACTUALLY HEAR ABOUT THE OTHER STUFF TOO
🇨🇴♿🤑🤑🤑🤑😩😩😩😩
I just wanted to let you all know you need to do your homework before you go blaspheming like that on there video Until That Polaris Hall's a 4,000 lb bail of hay give or take and a 3000 plus pound cow trailer in the same load don't ever call that a mini truck I have a stock 95 Suzuki carry that would rip that thing apart yeah it might be faster but I could haul twice the load and still have the same cab comfort and oh yeah can you drop the motor in your backyard with a few simple hand tools I don't think so but as we all know in the off-road World sometimes you got to replace the major components thanks other than that great video
Mike Panocatapolis well I know it might be a little outside of y'all's program but it would be cool to see y'all do a little bit on a mini truck and put it through some of y'all spaces especially hitting some of the mud holes just something to consider whatever I love watching every episode y'all put at when are you going to do some more on that Can-Am can't wait to see what y'all do with it
but good luck finding parts if anything goes wrong ;)
ScottaHemi three places eBay G&R Imports for Stateside and four Sons off road for Canada and there's a sort of other dealers all over
Just go buy a damn truck, save yourself a lot of money. Ridiculous prices on these things you can buy a really nice truck for what one of these toys costs.
William Todd true but it is nice to have one for small trails
This is so stupid. I'll just drive my truck.
Exactly, and a hell of a lot cheaper. They've taken what used to be a utility machine and turned it all into a sport of what machine goes faster, and as a result of adding "SPORT" to the original idea of utility vehicles the prices have gone through the roof...you can buy a damn nice truck for what one of these toys cost.
You won't call it stupid on a 104 degree day in Quartzsite, Arizona
Kevin Johnson on a 104 day in mesquite (or anywhere else for that matter), I'd just drive the truck.
son bacanes los buyyies polaris
Your truck won't go where the ranger does so have fun mall cruising.
