I have flown my cats all over the world while I was a diplomat. They didn’t particularly like it, especially when they had to go to quarantine in Hawaii. But, otherwise, whenever we got to wherever we were going, they would just exit their crates, and just make themselves right at home.

Tommy, I understand how you feel about the country. I was born and raised in the city, about 20 years ago we moved to the county. I always said you can’t take the city out of me but now you couldn’t get me back to the city. And that’s where my children live. By the way, I am on the replay crew.

I tried a taco bowl or burrito bowl recipe online a month ago. It was so good, so easy, and the ingredients are so cheap. I'm never getting chipotle again! I used ground turkey, 2 bags of success boil in bag rice, can of black beans, can of pinto beans, can of rotel tomatoes. And then put on sour cream and sprinkle cheese on top when you serve your individual plate. Lasts a while too.

Vacuuming our house took up all my husband’s time, which finally made him come up with the dough to buy the highest end Roomba, the one that has its waste container that sucks up everything the robot collects and stuffs it into a disposable bag.

If you love Baccarat Rouge 540, but want to save it for special occasions, there are some dupe perfumes you could substitute so you could still wear something incredibly similar without worrying about running out of the super expensive stuff. Red Temptation by Zara, Barakkat Rouge 540 by Maison Alhambra (a middle eastern perfume house - you can find it online) are both great options. The one by Maison Alhambra is longer lasting and they also make an extrait version which is also amazing. The one thing to remember if you do decide to buy a Middle Eastern perfume is that they generally need to be opened, sprayed a couple of times and then put away in a cool, dark place for a couple of months to macerate before using them. They develop a bit like a wine ages - they need time. But they are a tiny fraction of the price of the MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, and smell almost identical.

Reese, go to a trader joe’s buy a couple of the 1+ Pound chocolate bars and some cans of condensed milk. Then look up online the recipe for quick chocolate fudge. It is quick and delicious and really easy to make. If you like pecans or walnuts, you can put some of those in too.

When I was in the states and my partner was in Finland, it was heart wrenchingly tough. 6 months went so slowly until she came to see me for 2 weeks. Then we were apart 2 more months before I moved to be with her.
