Rock art and anthropology was one of my areas of study in school. One thing I discovered was if you make a fire at night about 30 to 40 ft away from a cliff face, stand near the fire but between the fire and the cliff face, the light from the fire will cast your shadow long and lean up on the cliff face. You can even move your arms and almost completely mimic the pictographs on the rock face. Ancient people likely traced the shadows and could very easily think they were otherworldly in some form of fashion. It's really a cool thing! Thanks for sharing your experience!
The giant of Moab actually "concerned" about something like that is rather entertaining. He literally lives life on the edge. Glad y'all got out and had a little fun.
Nice work guys. I hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving. Good recoveries & repairs mixed with good times with friends. Nice job editing Justin. Thanks for sharing
Rory and crew you all are amazing. Absolutely love your channel. Wishing I could do a ride along with someone. But after 3 back surgeries and now scoliosis of the spine I don’t think I’ll ever be able to ride the trails. I love watching you all and living the fun through you all. ❤❤❤
Why didn't you guys use that big tree right next to the Ford? What, no pangolins? Did you ever go to Newspaper Rock? That's pretty cool. My daughter was amazed by it. That woman in the black Jeep is a cutie!
I like the way you guys divide and conquer to get multiple things done at one time. I hope you get one of the wreckers up and running so you can have a heated vehicle to do recoveries since winter is definitely here
I don't know about that ghost hunting part, but the rest of the video was good, so no complaints about it. Interesting that all that one Jeep needed was a clamp rotated on the steering.
Thought this was cool to take us along... and Rory I really liked your camera angle going down the rocks, kinda a first person perspective. It gave off a realistic depth perception going off the obstacle!! very cool!
Once again winter has crept into Moab.... snow, cold winds. game moving to the lower lands, Now the tows are for people who go off the road, get stuck in snow... and stiff cold hands from working out in the cold...
Those pictographs and petroglyphs at Sego are amazing (though I went in the daytime to avoid potentially malevolent spirits). They are some of the most striking ones I've seen. I still don't know if those spooky figures are enemies of the ancient people or protectors. Either way, for anyone who loves ancient rock art, Sego is a great spot to check out and not far off I-70. And once again, Mike is just the best for helping people and being a great coach for getting over obstacles.
Great vid guys! Love the recoveries but today it shows how what looks like a easy recovery is tricky, and other times the gnarliest situation is a breeze! Thank you! (It's seven and lots of frozen water particles on the ground in Nordeekota...still flat!!!!) Peace and be safe!
The heck with the ghosts. Go back in the daytime so we can see the painted things too. Easy repair for Mike and the lady was on her way. Those buggy's aren't made for the cold weather.
🎉 supposed to have that much fun maybe you use the shell to cook the armadillo in along with the opossum Hope you guys didn't get scared at ghost town or did you scare the ghosts away 😊😅❤
I'm not afraid of ghosts and goblins. What I'm afraid of is the rocks and post shoting up out of the ground as I'm running in the dark, as I'm looking back at what spooked me.
When i was traveling down in the south, I saw lots of Armadilos, BUT, the were sleeping by the side of the highway. Hundreds of them. over a period of time. BUT, never saw one that was awake, and moving. Never! So i would say, that they must be possums, with a shell.

Are U sure your study wasn't Rocket science?
Thank you for that knowledge
The giant of Moab actually "concerned" about something like that is rather entertaining. He literally lives life on the edge. Glad y'all got out and had a little fun.

Rory congrats 259K. You look very happy ! Thanks for you're content💚❣️
Mike - Do the rock peckers fly south for the winter ? 🤣
Silly, they hibernate.. sheesh common knowledge LOL
Only Mike would think of looking in the darkmess for Daphne of Scooby-Doo.
Mike is cool.
And he's good at recording.
Heater on and windows down.👍👍
Hope every one enjoyed their trip and had fun.
I'm with you on ghosts Rory. Not needing any more issues in life at seventy five.
Looks like fun. I am really liking the jeep :)
Great work guys . Mike gets the best jobs
I’m pretty sure if you remove the shell from an armadillo, it just gets really pissed off.
Ghost hunting. You guys are all so cool. 😎
Great job again.
Trail Mater team and Matt's off road recovery family hunting ghosts and doings recovery's this is a great Saturday afternoon! Good video and content!

Mikey can tell its the moon because of the way it looks 😅😂😊😊
I think the skinned armadillo moon is in September, and the ‘possum moon is in June. 🤣😎
Wishing I had a (highly accurate mirror measurer). 😂 Thanks Mike
I'm here for Todd, Todd's the man.
Good morning Trailmater Crew from Maui, I’m trying to be the first to comment, keep up the awesome content and have a nice day
Thats a great place to go visit during the day. That car is a 1950 plymouth.
Why didn't you guys use that big tree right next to the Ford?
What, no pangolins?
Did you ever go to Newspaper Rock? That's pretty cool. My daughter was amazed by it.
That woman in the black Jeep is a cutie!
Rory,Mike,Shawn "ya ya, you're doin' good" 👍👍
I like the way you guys divide and conquer to get multiple things done at one time.

Sounds like Mike’s voice got a little squeaky when he was talking to Todd and Todd’s mommy lol
🤣
I mean, no disrespect and Mrs. Mike
Woohoo!
Nice burl @ the first recovery on that pinion I always wondered if Mike And Shawn think they have the best job in America
I don't know about that ghost hunting part, but the rest of the video was good, so no complaints about it. Interesting that all that one Jeep needed was a clamp rotated on the steering.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Well Cajuns call Armadillos 'Possum on a half shell. soo...
Why did the chicken cross the road?
To show the possum that it COULD be done. lol
👍
According to Google armadillos are in their own family. They’re closest living. Relatives are ant eaters and sloth…… love you guys happy holidays
And Opossums are marsupials and more related to Koala and Kangaroo.
They are good eating as well
Good afternoon gentlemen!!🤙🏻😎 Hope you all a a wonderful Turkey Day!
OMG you let Mike's drive for a recovery!!!!! YIPPIE
I think Mike should become Tod's new daddy!
Thought this was cool to take us along... and Rory I really liked your camera angle going down the rocks, kinda a first person perspective. It gave off a realistic depth perception going off the obstacle!! very cool!
great as always great content very entertaining good job
Thanks Guys
Once again winter has crept into Moab.... snow, cold winds. game moving to the lower lands, Now the tows are for people who go off the road, get stuck in snow... and stiff cold hands from working out in the cold...
Thanks. Golden crack reminded me of my X
Thank you guys
Thanks for another great video

A new meaning to S and M action.
No Shawn, an Armadillo is not the same as a Possum.
A opossum is related to marsupial family. Not even close to the aramadillo
I removed the shell off of my racing snail hoping to make it faster. It actually made it more sluggish. 😐
Mike definitely had the best rescue, poor Tod might have been eaten by bear or mountain lion if he hadn't of gotten there when he did.
😂
Fun video! Happy Holidays to all.
Cool. Having Thanksgiving today. This is a nice way to start out
That was a fortunate bit of editing.... seems you and Mike were both dealing with the 'golden crack' 😇😉🤣
What a fun video! Y'all were all over.
P.S. It's not the Skin Walkers you have to worry about. It's the Dog Men!😳
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Mike I would have went with her. Check out the tunnels with her😮😂😏😉🔧🔨👻✌🏽
Great video guys way to pack in the content
Need More "Mini-Mater"!
Those graves all from 1918?? The flu epidemic that year was swift and deadly.
Gotta get that jeep painted anything other than yellow, reminds me of that Other Recovery Company,,, LOLOL
The heck with the ghosts. Go back in the daytime so we can see the painted things too. Easy repair for Mike and the lady was on her way. Those buggy's aren't made for the cold weather.
Lots of army diller's in s. TX most are laying along back roads drunk on lonestar.
I love the scenery you always show. Good stuff. Oh, the recoveries are OK too. Buggy audio was fine
Dang Mike Kristin was a hottie 😍 and the dog too😅
❤❤❤
Check Engine light on the LJ? It's a Jeep thing. 🤣👍
I'm convinced Armadillos are up-armored possum..
Howdy Y’all!
The spooky ones are in Black Dragon Draw just west of Green River.
She wanted to see your tusher tunnel, Mike. I'll bet she turned the steering stabilize on purpose just to make you come save her.
Great video as usual
🎉 supposed to have that much fun maybe you use the shell to cook the armadillo in along with the opossum
Hope you guys didn't get scared at ghost town or did you scare the ghosts away 😊😅❤
I think it is time for a Trailmater outing to Skinwalker ranch. Maybe a bit of camp out.
I our area, armadillo is just a opossum in a half shell but Kentucky on has em as immigrants
Nice rig
Don’t change anything.
I'm not afraid of ghosts and goblins.
What I'm afraid of is the rocks and post shoting up out of the ground as I'm running in the dark, as I'm looking back at what spooked me.
Armadillo =possum on the half shell!lol
Mikey.. you saved Todd the dog!
Have you not seen Bair witch ?
"There's quite a few from 1918". Flu pandemic.
We literally have them everywhere here in Arkansas
When i was traveling down in the south, I saw lots of Armadilos, BUT, the were sleeping by the side of the highway. Hundreds of them. over a period of time. BUT, never saw one that was awake, and moving. Never! So i would say, that they must be possums, with a shell.
Slight hints of "The Blair Witch Project" {only funny} Thanks, guys!
The possum armadillo conspiracy 😂
Hello 👋 Guys 👍❤️✌️💪🏻☮️
Looks like it's Mikes lucky day.. lol
Just like birds... Birds ain't real there just government spies....had me rolling on the floor laughing...
Hi Todd 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Firstish!
Too much fun lol
an Armadillo is a Opossum on a Half Shell.
That's not a moon, it's a space station 😂😅
Plenty of armadillos here in florida they like warm weather and wet climate
Rory ran over the camera LoL , but it still works .
Mike, your check engine light is on. 😅
Take a trip to Texas they have plenty of Armadillo’s 👍🤣
Guess Mike found Velma after all.
Great job guys as always !!!;)
It's stuff they seen when they were tripping on ayahuasca. Front wheels on her Jeep was pointing in two different directions
