      Not quite. Basalt is denser than the majority of continental rock types and actually harder for magma to intrude into. Most plate boundaries are offshore and these tend to be the easiest point for magma to intrude

    It is true that the Apo laki caldera is way bigger and triple the size of yellow stone's., It was just discovered in 2019 by a Filipina geophysicist., She named it "ApoLaki" means "giant lord" in Filipino, and is also the name of the god of sun and war in some Philippine mythology. It sits in Benham rise, also called Philippine rise But they also confirmed that the thing is not active anymore., it's been inactive already since million of years ago, but because of its volcanic plateau that formed cuz of its volcanic activities before, it makes Benham rise rich in minerals which makes it abundant in marine life such as vast areas with rare coral reefs and expensive commercial fishes such as tuna and Marlin can be found in there.,

    I might be wrong, but I don't think a " supervolcano" can exist without a mantle plum coming from the outer core and lower mantle boundary, ~2900km/1800 miles below our feet. The magma production from the subduction isn't hot enough and has not the needed volume.

    • @jackreisewitz6632
      @jackreisewitz6632 Месяц назад

      @knaako9847 I used to think that, too. But it seems that some crustal subduction zone volcanoes have produced eruptions big enough to qualify as super volcanoes, as the classification is based on the amount of material ejected. Not on the point of origin.
      Some stuff I've read suggested that subduction zone volcanoes that produce super volcanic eruptions are more likely after a subduction zone initially forms. Rather than at a long established subduction area.
      But that's just speculation. I don't know of anyone who has actually tried to claim that to be demonstratable.

    This was a pretty bad video. Jumps between Yellowstone and Apolaki, but spends way more time on Yellowstone. I wanted to learn more about the Apolaki caldera but learned very little. Even the red outline overlying the ocean floor does not show much of a caldera or circular ring of mountains. No idea how they attached a caldera to this area. No mention of seismic activity. NO mention of water depth or current activity. Very poorly done.

    These are random images of volcanos and a terrible voice. Another bad AI made video. I dislike all of them that I come upon.

    It is better to believe that JESUS CHRIST is and find out that HE is then to believe that JESUS CHRIST is not and find out that HE is. JESUS CHRIST is still in control and to the ungodly unbelievers beware
