And we know that hunter keeps nagging cause he loves Omega And since Crosshair isn't really one to nag .... It's more like saying he loves her even more
I love the way Omega's and Crosshair's relationship has developed. He trusts and respects her and often follows her lead. She has a great affect on the people around her. It's been one of the best things about this show. I wish it didn't have to end.
@@jedilibbySo do I. Only that was the moment I really feared they were planning to have him die in this episode. I couldn't sit still until the moment Howzer gets him to safety (after having stunned CX2). First we hear him telling Omega that he's "much worse" - which is THE pivotal moment for them &qualifies as a downright declaration of (brotherly) love - and *then* volunteering to draw the assassin's fire. I felt I saw his death coming from a mile away there (and I *hated* the writers for it). I'm glad I was wrong.
Hunter's definitely more of the parent while Crosshair is the older sibling specifically because he lets her have more independence in decisions vs Hunter whose more concerned about safety. Not to say Hunter wouldn't allow her independence but he definitely views things more as a parent.
Omega: "You think I should stay behind too?" Crosshair: "You're capable but you are still a kid." Omega: "Ugh, I'm older than you are. Little brother." Crosshair: "Heh"
I do like that crosshair kind of went back to his older self. That "too bad" was something he might have said to anakin or rex in Season 7 of the clone wars
Wearing his *old armour* helped him become *the old him* , too. Imperial Crosshair wore the dark grey armour (which imho is illegally... cool, or something), and that was a different him. He has now shed that armour and that persona, and even if he can never quite be his older self again he is trying to find his way to whom he will be from now on. The old armour is a step on the way. (When all their armours were stripped of colour before the finale, now that had me worried....) Oh, the fascinating details and layers of symbolism in this show. For every rewatch you always find one more.
Yes! I actually edited a version including episode 9 but it was basically half the video so I decided to make it a separate video that will be out soon!
I really like seeing the difference in how Crosshair and Hunter treat Omega. Hunter is the protective parent who restricts Omega's involvement in missions in order to keep her safe. Crosshair, who used to view her as an annoying tag-along that acted as a distraction to his brothers, now views her as an equal, allowing her to take an active role in missions and even following her lead. She's not a child to him - she's a fully fledged member of the squad.
The scene with Crosshair blaming Hunter irks me bc if he had chosen his brothers over the Empire after the end of Season 1 (after his chip was removed) then he could’ve been there to help protect her. He’s throwing stones in a glass house.
I think that’s the point. Crosshair is very insecure after returning to his brothers, because he understands how wrong he was before. In shifting the blame on Hunter, he’s pinpointing an insecurity that he himself holds- a failure to be there for the people who care about you most when they needed you.
The chip could be a lie, but had he decided to rejoin his brothers whose to say he will share a spot with someone to sleep on the Mauroder (RIP) and wants to work with Cid for money
1:32 I think we DESERVE a new animated series all about all the *interesting contacts* Echo has made throughout the galaxy. I can imagine a wealth of interesting stories begging to be told there. At least one full season. Any title suggestions? 😄
Omega kind of reminds me of the Jedi Exile in KOTOR II. Both of them draw people in, form extremely strong bonds with beings around them (both animal and sentient), and said beings are willing to die for them to keep them from harm.
It’s amazing character development from omega and Crosshair when he used to say “ aim for the kid “ and now says “ stick by my side and stay down” . Crosshair went from “ idc about this kid “ to he would do anything to protect his sister. 😢🥹

“You’re as bad as hunter”
“Oh, I’m *much* worse.”
THIS IS LITERALLY MY FAV QUOTE OF THE SERIES!!!!!!
Omega sounds like typical teenager 😅

@ewwsjedilibby
Buddy went from telling her to leave him alone to going out of his way to save and protect her
“I don’t like that idea”
“Too bad” lmaoooo
I love that moment!
Crosshair being the sass queen.
He says to bad so calmly

You could tell he was grinning under the helmet
They're more like "Protective Big Brothers" as opposed to older, seeing as she's actually 'older' than they are.
You're right 😂
I would say that the DAD batch has been a success
Well Omega was captured twice and they had to find her, but the third time is going to be tough on episode 12
“You’re angry because she escaped with my help! Not yours” god that’s a deep cut….

You're so right! Crosshair is the cool older brother
@@jedilibbyI'd say more the cool uncle
I just noticed omega actually does look a little older. I had to watch season 1 again her hair was shorter
She's lost a lot of her baby fat around her cheeks too
@@Rodestar-fg5ykAnd she's gotten a bit taller.

It's cute how Omega can work Hunter and cute how she can't work Crosshair.
There’s a whole bunch you can add now with Episode 9 😂

First time I've seen Crosshair smile since Clone Wars Season 7
That got me!😊😊😊
I love how Crosshairs is integrated into the batch again

His character development has been off the charts this season and I love it.
