BASIC SPEAKERS TRAINING V2.0 by Malyn Tiu

St John Paul II exhorts: “No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples.” This training is intended for all HOLD leaders tasked to deliver pastoral talks starting with the Christian Life Program. The principles contained in this module are universally applicable and can also be utilized in talks given in the Chapter teachings or any HOLD activity. The conduct of the Basic Speaker’s Training should be done twice a year - one at the first half of the year and another on the second half - or as the need arises. This will equip especially those
HOLD leaders delivering a CLP talk for the first time.
The goal of the training is to help the attendees understand, appreciate, and be equipped with the necessary skills to a relevant, spirit-filled and impactful delivery of a CLP talk.
On a more general level, the training will help build the attendee’s confidence on how to deliver a talk through the activity.
