i can not wait for next season to start, Our Ind A Group (Bay Area Percussion) of which i play snare on, is Going to dayton to perform in world finals! can't wait to see these amazing groups!!!!
It's pretty much about how all of their sound goes to one focal point, and basically makes it all around easier for the instructors to see whats going on
Almost, 4/5 are on BD (well RCC's center tenor, Nick Arce, is BD's center SNARE, he was center tenor last year...). The other RCC tenor plays for Coats.
I can see me! haha I was pretty much watching them the whole time they were there. Then I went in and saw them perform. They were great at WGI Western Regional too at Cal State San Bernadeno. So glad RCC has been whooping Pulse all season long! even though my old tech Wesley is now the snare tech for Pulse Open-World. After I saw Totem I knew RCC was for me lol
Hey man, what did you use to record this? I want to do some pretty informal lot videos like this one and my phone isn't cutting it in terms of quality anymore.
I don't think that is correct. Looking at vids from the 2011 BD snare line, I cannot see the resemblance. Maybe it's just me. Check out "RCC 2012- Lot", none of those guys seem like a match.
i go to the school that WGI Regionals was at that year, i was a judge runner and man it was amazing to watch this ensemble from the judge's view
I like how 4 out of the 5 quads is the entire 2011 blue devils quad line :))
This is probably one of the best lot videos I've ever seen! Thanks for uploading man!

The amount of talent in this line this year is absolutely ridiculous, I'm smelling Gold for RCC

@linkjoshua12 the short dude was on blue devils quad line 2011 and is stilll on the blue devils quad line this year :)

The first bass full 360 twist just blew my mind now the 5th bass needs to do that!
14:06 tenor at the far end demonstrates his friendship with the snares.
2012 is gonna be a great year WGI
Check out BD's feb camps or january camps Nick Arce is the center snare for BD and the center tenor for RCC

The tenor guy while he is on the ground he is tapping the rythmn of the snares.
It's insane how well their stick heights are in snyc.
I love rccs warm ups so groovey.
Anyone know the philosophy behind them setting up the warm-up "arc" like that?
Wait, is that the entire BD Tenor line as the RCC Tenor line? Haha, I can recognize at least 3 of them.
That awesome moment when you realized that they are warming up at your school.
Thanks dude! Glad you liked it :]
9:48 XD that first bass tho in the back.
It's called patting ur foot, the first way u learn to keep timing as a percussionist. They are just doing it with their heels.... Same concept.
thats just the way they mark time in the lot with stands
Top bass is a beast :)
Coolest looking drums. EVER.

Is there somewhere for sheet music for the warm up at 5:23? Please respond
how many of those 5 quad players marched bd last summer?
I don't mean to this to be rude or anything, but is that tenor player young or just short?
Also, right-foot-only mark time intrigues me. Reason?
what was the 2nd warm up they played?
Does anyone know the names of the exercises???
What is the warm up at 1:15 called?
What sticks do they use?

@LHSDrummer13 Who is both?
I think they need some more snares
I don't think that is correct. Looking at vids from the 2011 BD snare line, I cannot see the resemblance. Maybe it's just me. Check out "RCC 2012- Lot", none of those guys seem like a match.
