The Quiet Woman

In 1943, while France is occupied, Louise, owner of a small hotel-restaurant, comes across an English paratrooper who needs help. With the help of Emile, half comrade, half lover, she transports the newcomer to her cellar, where she hides him, despite the danger. Without even being aware of it, Louise has just fallen into the resistance.
