Yall need to make the trip to Turkey Drag. Its a 3 day show with RV spots, Cabins, and tent camping anywhere. Best show we go to...Plus you get to cruise around the show ground.
As a 56 yo, I’m done camping in a tent. We have a 1959 Scotty camper that we take to shows. We do a lot of traditional hot Rod shows that usually have a vintage camper section. It’s nothing fancy but it has a comfy bed, heat and ac. We’ll be taking it to Sparks in the Ozarks. I love being able to stay on the show grounds.
Years ago, I was given a '63 Rambler American without an engine/trans in it. If you've ever looked at one, the rear wheelwells sit further forward than you'd think that they would, and so I thought it'd make a cool gasser-type build. I started building up a front subframe, sourced a straight axle front end, a 440 with a Torq Flite, and was getting ready to cut into it, when my buddy that builds hot rods came by the house. He asked if it was my dream car, and I had to honestly answer "no", but I thought it was cool. His reply was, "That's a lot of work on a car you're not in love with." I sold it and all of the parts a couple of weeks later, and bought a Datsun.
Definitely enjoyed this week's episode. I'm a little behind schedule on episodes. Just wanna let you know. I'll see you guys in a couple of weeks. Maybe if you wanna get away from the event for a little bit and have dinner. We can go to my local Mexican restaurant which is pretty good. Maybe not California good. But it is good. Oh yeah, and I live about ten miles away from the event
I always listen to you guys I like this podcast with Frank & Brian the best podcast I think adjust my opinion and what I like lol..Niko in Peoria Arizona

This happens a lot. We can enjoy a vehicle and do small things to it while saving up for what we actually want to dump a ton of money and time in.
Yeah tough choice between going crazy and having some restraint. Especially when trying to do different things
Big time.

We bagged a 73 AMC Pacer here at the shop. Just because. Hopefully we’ll finish it one day.

Hi Bacon. Thank goodness you’re here. Lol
@@SunsetJeffyBoythat story made me crack up, far too early in the morning. I hope it did the same for others.
I didn't mind the asphalt.. There was a definite lack of coverage from that area, but that's what we get for having UC crap boxes lol
That is actually something I’ve addressed with each media outlet that covered the show.
Frank, you can talk to a chair just like you watch mutton busting and tractors.
Maybe he’s the commentator??
Watching this again and the "shaved door" full size made me think. Have you seen/know of Zach's S-10 and the big ole suicide door?
