Sure, the leviathans are horrifying, but the real scare comes from the terror of exploring the deep, knowing there could be a leviathan around every corner but not knowing where you'll see it. This game captures both pretty well. Horror is when you're actively fighting bigfoot; terror is the lighting/atmosphere of the in-between period, like you mentioned.

If he doesn't feel like playing a game they aren't gonna play it, after raging st the same game for z while you eventually get depressed and stop caring, which is why they are diverse in their choices and aren't gonna play a game they don't enjoy, if they are always raging they aren't gonna be happy with it and logically won't play it, jigglypanda said that he's stopped playing games that made him rage for this reason and he has learned to calm down on the rage a lot more than he was before, for this exact reason.
My friend and I just hunted Bigfoot last night! Got a great strategy and killed him night 2 (almost night 1!) With just the two of us... Can't wait to see if you guys thought of the same plan.

Run to the Camp immediantly, grab the shotgun and handgun there, as well as any and all fuel canisters, then backtrack and run to the watchtower to get the Auto Rifle- then set the traps up the ramp with the fuel canisters along them. I had explosives damage so I had the shotgun, and shot the explosives when he got trapped. My friend had the rifle so he used that. We would constantly grab the traps and set them back down to keep trapping bigfoot. We did about 700 dmg night 1, restocked fuel as best we could and waited. Night 2, same plan, And we finished him off quickly.

This game feels a lot better than the original Bigfoot, I like that they added more cool features, i.e. - environmental traps (tree snares, rock slides, trees collapsing, etc) - being able to give items - jumping thru windows and over railings - melee weapons - gas can & car batteries that you can blow up - a drone, etc.
That's how you fucking know toonz has hunted he knew exactly where to place the cam and instead of going for the head like a normal game he went straight to the heart
